I have travelled Pune to Hyderabad twice by MSRTC bus on the same day route. In 2014, there was Hirkani (Non AC pushback seat) service. Then further in 2017 travel to Hyderabad, they replaced Hirkani with Shivshahi service. The Shivshahi service was continuing since 2017 until lockdown. However surprised to see that post lockdown they have replaced the Shivshahi service with seater cum sleeper bus service. The crew of the bus gets changed at Umerga. This bus again starts from hyderbad next day morning at around 10 am and reaches Pune night 9 pm. Thanks for showing and travelling in this service of MSRTC.😍
too less - the number of seats. The demand is high on the route. Mild steel buses could have been used for earning more revenue with more seats. by using sleeper bus for day time it leads to loss. the crew was talking to some passenger and complaining about Pimpri - Chinchwad depot being in loss. no wonder .......
@@SingleTraveller the word "no wonder" used by you describing the state of affairs of msrtc is self explanatory. Its depots who indulges in unproductive decisions by running the bus on odd timing are responsible for huge losses for corporation. The brains behind the management is very important here which differentiate the profits and losses. Kudos to ksrtc and its backend brains for making it number 1 state government running bus corporation in India.
Lot of patience need to travel in day time in a sleeper Bus.You r great Bro.From Sangareddy to Hyd the traffic is terrific.It tooks 2to3 hours from there only to reach Ameerpet. You should travel in all kinds of buses Bro.We should learn different experience from You.Its also help us to travel. Rs 210 is very reasonable for 170km in Non AC Sleeper.Thanks to MSRTC and Very Nice video Bro.
@@SingleTraveller They compensate the loss by fixing high fares for AC sleeper buses. But, the AC sleeper buses failed a little by it's high fare. Amost all seats will be filled in non AC buses. So, there's no much loss. But, TNSTC is running in profit after the arrival of new blue buses and the introduction of many nonstop services. The nonstop buses charge just 3 rupees than express buses for 60 kms.

In SETC, from Trichy to Chennai, they charge gust 316 rupees for 325kms for a non AC sleeper bus.
why so less ?
Seater --- 316 rs
Sleeper --- 331 rs
Generally, TNSTC, SETC fairs are so affordable. You also might experience this.
