I used to see stunning trailers for MS FS 2020, and now I'm contemplating a gorgeously spectacular, breathtaking world update trailer. I'm truly stunned!
The funny thing is, when i first saw these updates, i got goosebumps. Now there is a sort of expectation of being blown away, and absolute so i did, but it feels different than the first time around. It feels familiar. Familiarity may be the biggest complement i could give to the team.
Just Incredible! not just this showcase here, but Finally flight simulation is starting to feel & look as our precious beutiful world! Imo Asobo has been amazing in the Information, transparancy, development and upgrades of msfs. Thanks!
That is truly the revolution that this game brought to flight sims and why it's so popular. Even if you're not into flying simulation, exploring the world in this way that requires effort and looks so real and beautiful - it's really worth a lot. It's actually incredible.
I don't live in the south America region but I agree that southamerica has not been shown the love it deserves I hope the next world update will prioritize southamerica.
Has the freezing of the ocean been fixed? The fjords in norway has not been frozen in 10 000 years (or so since the last ice-age) IRL, so have FS2020 catched up with this update? Otherwise: the video was looking good, and promising. ... I'm sorry, I just can't appreciate it since I'm so mad for the lack of fix for the freezing fjords (*grmf*). Just in case someone is interested: The fjord-freezing in FS should have nothing to do with weather or temprature; - The fjords are salt-water(!). - Has quite a stable temperature due to the north atlantic current(gulf stream). - They can be over 1000 meters deep, and it would take an ice-age to freeze it. For instance Sognefjorden is 205 km long, 1300 meters deep, the width varies from 1km to 5km wide.... That's quite a lot of mass to freeze!!!!!! For reference for my example above: Lake superior has just a max-depth of 406 meters and consist of fresh-water. Would we see Lake Superior frozen in FS2020? I's far more probable than the fjords freezing(!)
It should be the whole South America, not just Brazil. It'll come eventually, just have to be patient. Hopefully before they go thru the Moon, Pluto, Venus and Mercury.
Looks nice, still think you should get a 50cm res satellite or better and AI photogram the entire world. Any reason it's a market place download and not integral to the world?

Let's just hop into fords and drive here. Why every small Europe city does not have this ground to building height altitude data? We have these too 0:32. That is so much pixels if leaving area 18 can't see as far as the door without a frame drop, but we have powerful PC they would say. Port Olisar does not allow that, you explode for trespassing. 1:17, that was so much fun WWII flying simulation. This island has impenetrable defenses 1:43 as the two rivers flowing into the same stream. Anyway - this is not some Australia where it's warm as the Azure Span heated by Fyrrak. Can I visit Volcano - sure I visit Volcano a the Frostfire Ridge.
Looking forward to seeing updated satellite data of Copenhagen. But why is the FS store always so slow at downloading? I have a 1000/1000mb/s wired internet connection and the download speed is often around 1-2 mb per second...

Okay, I am still learning how to use FS, but how do you get these panning views outside of the airplane? I just want to see the scenery that way! What commands or keys?!?
I mean they did state that South America (espescially Brazil) hasnt been forgotten, but getting the geo data licensing from the local governments is difficult
As many as it takes to overcome years and years of other than europe updates. MFS series started and was built around US aviation system and airfields and some bigger international cities but this is the first time they actually make something good in europe.
Very much agree. So many updates for Europe, some for US, and a trickle for other places. But nothing for Central and South America, Africa, Middle East, and Southeast Asia. Would really love one for the Caribbean. Though I am being biased here.

It'll always happen if you download on the day of release. It's simply caused by a huge spike in download traffic.

My RTX2080 runs this game smoothly. Msfs2020 really isn’t that demanding compared to its predecessor’s.
