Let me qualify myself first I am a carpenter by trade and was a cabinet builder I believe that the beaver coach was a Monaco product and that the wood used in the cabinetry is a hickory tiger wood material it was very expensive and it is a hardwood which you’re not going to find and too many affordable production coaches today! This coache is an incredible value ! Thomyt
One I seemed to have missed. I love the woodwork and layout of this coach with the exception of the window coverings. If this was available when I arrive it would be a serious contender. I love your choice of videos Andrew and my next step is seeing some of these in the flesh before making a decision. Anyone who wants to travel the country would be very comfortable in this coach. I’d love to see some more please 🙏🏻 💫
Surprised that your guest did not mention that it is built on a Roadmaster S-series chassis which is a semi-monocoque construction - that would stand out as the true perk of this coach.
Any idea how this chassis compares to the others? Particularly the 2008 specific version of this chassis, how does that compared to chassis for today's diesel?
@@gregoryhwin Everything today is built on stock raised rail chassis. Back in the peak of Class A manufacturing, the top dogs built semi-monocoque chassis that were much stronger and more stable than a raised rail chassis. They drive better and are safer in a crash situation, not to mention a lot less rattles and shaking going down the road. All Country Coaches, the higher end Monaco/Beaver/Holiday Rambler products, Foretravel are the few manufacturers that offered these types of chassis. Today, the only way to get something equivalent in a new coach is to go to a Prevost or Newell. Even something like a Newmar King Aire has an inferior chassis to this Beaver. Check out Andrew's videos with Louie at Premier RV Services for further explanation. I think it is called "What Happened to Country Coach?"
What a beautiful coach. If I wouldn’t have just bought one I’d be heading out to look at that one. So much of value for the money. It’s a piece of art.
The color scheme and materials are my style, the features are either ahead of their time or considered moderately high end, the chassis on these are definitely a sales point (can't believe you forgot to mention it) and the engine is a beast(as long as it's in good shape) a diesel with milage this low must've spent some serious time sitting which concerns me a little. A great find, a great coach and yet another great upload, thanks for sharing this with us Andrew! 👍
Got my last new Beaver in 2002 and it's showing a lot of wear on it. Love this last Beaver and spent most winters in my Beaver. Would like to get one more new Beaver and that will be my last one, as I am 71 years old.
@RVing with Andrew Steele - You’re showing us a lot of big coaches at prices that compete with fifth-wheels. It would be great if you could do a video on the running and usage cost for these coaches. How much is the maintenance? What’s the fuel mileage? How much are the RV parks/resorts that handle these? It seems like another world. Is it one where if you have to ask the cost, you can’t afford it?
Andrew, I know you've mentioned in prior videos how much (approx) to repaint a coach, but I can't remember. What do you think it would cost for this coach? Can a vinyl wrap be applied over checked paint or would that need to be sanded down first? Thanks Andrew, nice coach.
👍 Rare Find. Beautiful Diesel Pusher. Only thing I don't like is that the actual toilet in the rear is on a slide out. Other than that and a little bit of checkering, this is an top notch Diesel Pusher with a great engine.
@@glynpayne4393 Look real close. Also, go check the floor plan of Beaver Marquis Amethyst. You can even Google it! Do some research before you open your mouth and make some bogus comments, Glyn Payne!!
Nice Coach Andrew, the folks at Monaco were at the top of their game in 2008. You say the fuel tank 150 Gallons, I wonder what useable tank capacity is?
Living in the Beaver State, I should bring this Beauty back home. Display my grandchildren "artwork" in the China cabinet the let the three non purebred mutts lounge on those luxurious couches...thanks for the tour.
Wondering what it would cost to repaint that coach. I'm very familiar with the checking that plaqued the industry. Had many friends that experienced it. I understand it is more costly than if the coach was not checked up. Heck of a price but the paint issues would need to be fixed if it was mine.
First time I’ve seen a Beaver! 😃. Ummm, well sort of 😒, there was a cute little fellow in the stream the other day, and a bunch are in my wallet 🤣. Cheers 🍻
With the paint checking, I’m guessing this one was stored outdoors? I like it, but the paint checking bothers me. It would have to be fixed. I couldn’t stand looking at that. Otherwise looks like a great coach!

The interior looks like an high-end, older style, expensive appartment. Very warm and Beautiful..!!
FINALLY...A Beaver!! Love it. We looked at it a couple weeks ago at Premium Coach Group.
35 views in the first 2 minutes!!!! Andrew, you are Big Time!!!
Nice Marquis. Thank you for the tour Robert and Andrew. Nice to learn about all coaches before buying. Happy trails!

That's a lot of coach for the money! Beaver still has some of the finest wood work in the industry! Great Floorplan!
New drinking game. Every time he says “high end” drink a shot🤣😂
OK, I'm completely hammered now.
Hey, that’s my game!…….but I’m
In.
I would be drunk in the first 4 mins. Lol

@@cody.the.collector Ok ya got me!
What chassis is that Beaver built on? I've always love Beavers.
Roadmaster, we should have talked about that.
I agree 100% with you on that

We have been waiting for you to tour a Beaver for a long time.
Beautiful coach!!!
Wow! That bathroom! Incredible for that price!
Great video looks like a superb Coach. Keep up the good work.
Brian, Hey buddy!! Appreciate your vids. Country Coach some day!!
That's what I'm talking about with the Cat And the overall look of this coach ..Exactly what I'd want

Andrew...u r one high-end dude! Thanks Rob Easy!!
YAY, Andrew finally tours a Beaver!! We love ours although ours is a little older than this one. Super nice coach & great video (as always).
Wow super cool video Andrew this one 👌
Now that is a slick Beaver......!
Got my last new Beaver in 2002 and it's showing a lot of wear on it. Love this last Beaver and spent most winters in my Beaver.
Would like to get one more new Beaver and that will be my last one, as I am 71 years old.
That is some fine woodwork. Beaver was known for that. That locked bay 4 has my girly mags in it. Stay Out!
Beauty. This coach was updated at some point but well done by the previous owner.
Great job Andrew. Gorgeous coach. Excellent value for the dollar.

it is the nicest rental parking it model ever wood wise, sure to rent well if ppl see pictures & priced in redest zone vaca wise.
Wow. I'd buy this coach in the blink of an eye!

Rear toilet is NOT in the slide out. Only the bedroom has the slides.

What’s required to fix the paint checking? Why do some do this & others don’t ?

Wow! I would buy that in a heartbeat.
Hey Is Beaver still in business? How about service on this coach?
Is the RV still for sale
Thanks for showing a Beaver. Hope to see more. Go OU softball Alo#78. I have an 06 Monterey Laguna with C9 less then 60k miles quad slide.
This should sell quickly.
That wood pattern reminds me of fancy fountain pen barrels from the early 1900's to 1930's...when people actually cared about their handwriting!!
First time I’ve seen a Beaver! 😃.
Ummm, well sort of 😒, there was a cute little fellow in the stream the other day, and a bunch are in my wallet 🤣. Cheers 🍻
I own it whether fleet or personal, hard not to want this 1, damn fine coach.
I used to build Beavers in the late 90’s
I am certainly interested!
Andrew I heard you ordered a 2022 prevost for yourself.
😂 I wish that were the case!
That is a stunner! Wow. Not a big fan of the uktra gloss, but the quality is off the charts... Hmmm 🤔🤔
With the paint checking, I’m guessing this one was stored outdoors? I like it, but the paint checking bothers me. It would have to be fixed. I couldn’t stand looking at that. Otherwise looks like a great coach!
And what the roof looks like as well...
My parents used to have an avco motor home back in the day
The Cat motor makes the difference they are so much better then the ones with the 60S Detroits
Just excellent coach I love it
i hate the tile back splash & in shower but as a vaca primer rental just fine.
Great Value 👍🙋♂️
Does anyone know if this is a high end coach
Another funny, is tons of storage space or just tons of space see how many times he says that? But he does great videos
I spoke with Robert and a cool guy. No idea what a beaver coach is. Cat diesel is great!! Robert is easy isn’t he?
how do you fix paint checking??
BTW I think u call that wood pattern "burled wood" and is it termed a veneer? Yeah.
price, yr, & miles just not the paint not bad at all.
Hi Andrew did you get my message about a class a handicap equipped motor home
Its hard for me to keep up with all the messages but you schedule a call on my website RVingwithAndrewSteele.com Thanks!
🤣🤣🤣 I guess you do use “High End“ a lot in your videos but hey at least you aren’t using those words “I’ll have to Circle Back” 🤣🤣🤣
👍👍🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲
This is a beauty
👍👍👍👍👍
I'd have to put a sign at the door "beavers wanted hunted and taken down regularly "
This salesman likes 🍸
