It's actually pretty hilarious that Brave Marth would still largely be able to pull this off even without his weapon refine.
That being said, Brave Marth has gotten so many incredible tools over the past half a year or so since his refine: Bonus Doubler 4, Null-C Disrupt 4, Distant Counter (M), and No Quarter, and now Marth's Emblem Ring synergize together perfectly on him.
So hardy bearing once again becomes a good skill lmao

@@lyndotwav Marth and the only unit within 2 spaces had no debuffs which duo Sanaki needs for that nuking and piercing power she brings. If they had just a few debuffs on em it was probably joever.

the thing that is most wild to me is that this ring effect is the one effect that you can have in a def team and on top of that can you lock the effect on offense teams to have it on 1 unit per team but blessing the thing from the beginning that you always need to reapply if you change you deff team that has a uni from the offense team

Yeah I love this setup. Started using it pretty much as soon as I got Emblem Marth to pair on my +10 Brave. Don't have Bonus Doubler 4 right now though so I'm using Distant AS Solo and the AS Solo seal instead but it's neat.

I engaged Marth to my Godlike Reflexes Inigo alongside Arcane Éljúðnir and Time's Pulse 4 so he gets infinite Godlike Reflexes even with no counterattack
Finally somebody use emblem Marth fusion but #ZeShado I have a question are you able to swap fusion if you wanna fuse with someone else or is it like only one time fusion?
From what I see its like summoner/ally support but idk how that emblem fusion works honestly
You can only have the one emblem ring on one character at a time, but you can switch between whoever is wearing it at will (so some people are making teams with it, and then locking the team and using the ring elsewhere, but you can't technically have it on more than one person per team). From what I can tell they just act like any other equipment or accessory type. Think of the ring as like a Marth Sacred Seal!
Looks cool. I got some older +10 Godswords and wanna upgrade to a more recent/viable one. But with all the nukers, idk if investing in an omnitank would even be useful rightnow or just a waste of orbs. Thinking about B!Marth, Lucia or maybe another one...torn.

Oh, i misunderstood what they meant in the feh channel about emblem rings...
Man I wish I got No Quarter or a different B skill than Special Spiral 4 for my B!Alm (He has Vital Astra which is strong for survivability but No Quarter would deal a lot of damage with him though the only problem of course is that Special Spiral 4's special pierce effect would not be useful). Or even for L!Dimitri since he can get -2 cd allowing him to use really powerful specials with his large amount of true damage.
So let me get this straight:
You can't have an Emblem Engage with it's OG form, but the *ALTS* of said OG is still fine?
I'm honestly curious/hyped/terrified of what could happen when other Emblems show up in FEH. I hope Emblem Lucina still gives me the power of JuJumping Kaisen in Heroes.

It’s annoying how significant just marth is, considering I’m unlikely to get him without the FeH pass. There’s no reason to not use him on every AR-D team, every AR-O team, and Arena, and SD, he’s like an OP sacred seal you have to pull for. 😢

Maybe is just me, but wouldn't technically give everyone Slaying benefits mostly old units? Like, yeah, now Godlike Reflexes is usable by anyone with slaying on their weapon without the need of buffer 4 and a form of breath effect, but it opens up the way for strats that were otherwise locked to only units with slaying effect, and it can bring life to some weapons that were only lacking that one thing to be exceptional. Am I being too optimistic with this?
It's a bit of a crapshoot.
Slaying does help EVERYONE regardless of build (unless your name is Lucia) just because of how Specials became dominate in the game's meta. But since you can only have 1 Emblem Engaged per Emblem Hero type, unlike how you can have as many Rearmed or Attunes that you summon, you pretty much have to slap it on someone that would be absolutely dominate and love to loop their specials.
You might as well just stick with what work on your older units, as only some units can be like Brave Marth up there. Units that can solo teams thanks to cheesy strats or utter statball domination.

Yeah, Vantage is basically the *only* thing that stops Rearmed Sonya on initiation unless you have the good 'ol "Reduce AOE damage by 80%"

That's all fine and dandy until you come accross a Hardy bearing unit with enough firepower to OHKO your unit somehow (Gullveig _slur_ )
When new units are so incredibly stacked thst you have to outplay the condition effects of their weapons just to stand a chance at beating them.

Winter Dimitri does this exact same thing self sufficiently and with zero investment for the record.
Technically, this Marth covers 1/2 of W!Dimitri's weaknesses: A Null Counter. (Still weak to Hardy Bearing though).
That being said, Armored Beacon W!Edelgard still rips him in half if she's not adjacent to any allies.
I gave the emblem ring to Fallen Byleth... Let's just say she's destroying literally everything

From labbing it out on the FEH Mass Duel Simulator (though I might have missed an effect or two): *Nope*
Hardy Bearing + AOEs + Ploy are a huge weakness to this build, actually.
Marth's insane stats are only in-combat, so a before-combat AOE on Exposure won't be easy for him to tank.

Nowadays, Omnitanking is no longer about tanking everything. It's about not getting hit and attacking first with vantage, and dealing as much damage possible with that hit. Gone are the days where we hear "tings" and zeroes when being attacked. 🤣🤣🤣Even with Hardy Bearing, he can still tank it.

The New Altina is kinda gross, and she can just take most attacks like they're nothing, especially with NCD, she doesn't need Vantage.

@@vorsillionx I probably should've mentioned that I had support but eh. It's a resplendent Brave Ephraim. I gave him Arcane Prima, Armored Blaze, Fireflood Boost 3, Weaving Fighting, and a save skill. His S slot can be whatever you need. He's tanked every melee unit in this game so far with ReLucina's support. Ayra was the closest unit to killing me. He can also tank mages really well too if you want to give him Armored Floe and the DC-M.

Gulliveg makes quick work of the abyssal difficulty of that map supported by 2 save tanks to make Gulliveg retreat.

Honestly i fear how toxic engage merging will get. Tbh all engage dif was make premium units that are already toxic worse.
Have you fought alear with 1 special from her broken as nuke? Oh you use to tank her to bad next hit is death.
Then emblem marth him self is duo byleth lvl broken. His kit which im tired of seeing are conditions that dont need to be watched. They basucly over achive there conditions having no weakpoints to bypass them.
Using a blue unit to bad using a nuke to bad. Heck byleth is unkillable in in summonet duels format aoes dont kill him and whats stopping units like gotoh to make fighting them worse and veyle has to be 1 of the most cancerous supports besides path finders.
So now not getting emblem marth is litterly just making your units weaker sense the slaying stacks so thats 2 off your charge. Meaning bs like no quarters gonna be super easy to pull off. Same for aether and miracles.
With power creep getting to the climax i can see the game hitting a end of service soon before any units past a book even get there refines which usualy happens when power creep just gets worse heck they wont even remedy the issue.
Theres litterly 0 counters to units like claude or units like byleth now units like marth.
Lets not forget sd wont just disable duos and engage merging just to cracked to fightiing in the game.

Now even though this is a win for older units its not a win at all sense newer units who probably dont even struggle gets access to this crap
