Hope it was helpful, I was honestly surprised how nice the part was from Autozone. I usually go to Advance or Napa. I know I've used alot of Moog steering parts but I was surprised by the Duralast part from Autozone.
@@bigmac22ify you can't go wrong with Moog but I was surprised by the quality of the Duralast. I still need to go back and do the steering stabilizer. I'll probably get that from Napa
Man I am having the same problem with my steering wheel in my 87 and i thought it was the steering wheel gearbox getting loose. Thank you for posting this video. Can that part just completely break while you are driving it and run you off the road?
Bro that is a very nice Toyota truck you have! I have an 88 Toyota 5 speed. I’d like to know where did you buy those wheels? They look great on the pickup!! I’d like to buy those type of wheels in black. Let me know, thanks!
The way you turn that ratchet is so graceful and majestic. Keep up the good work. 👍
Gracias

@@allforwheelsgarage I got the same truck, down to the color so the video was perfect for me! I went with moog and AcDelco parts to play it safe.

@@allforwheelsgarage I bought a Monroe stabilizer off Amazon for around 32 dollars, for the price I am satisfied with the quality
@@bigmac22ify just found it, that's the one I'll get. Thank you
Thank you! Great video.
Did you use any special tools to seperate the ball joints? Or is that something you didn't end up having to do for this repair?
@ellenfoster7533 no special tools, just hit the joint with a ball-peen hammer to shock the joint and then it comes apart

Does the front of the truck necessarily need to raised off the ground or can you change it on the ground?
I guess it's not impossible to do on the ground, but it definitely helps to be raised up.
@@allforwheelsgarage Thanks for the quick response.
Color code and name please
what brand did you do with? beck, rare parts, or duralast?
Duralast
@@allforwheelsgarage appreciate it, going to have to do mine soon 👌
Giving the tourque specifications would be helpful for this!
