Speaking to the UAV not noticing the army guys. Enemy troops in ambush have used simple blankets to mask their thermal signature as far back as the 2003 invasion of Iraq. So possibly all these soldiers were hiding under blankets or cover to mask their thermal signature from enemy air assets.

The 'for a reason' does make sense. Sebastien 'sensed' good in him, but Bloodsport denied it and shut that down. So as far as Ratcatcher is concerned, Sebastien is wrong. Then at the end with his hero act, it turns out Sebastien is right. Sebastien being right IS the reason.
"I knew Sebastien sensed good in you for a reason" is basically her saying "Sebastien was right when he sensed good in you".

“Brain blasting bombs that ignore signal jammers” is realistic. Voice comms-particularly encrypted communications-require a lot more bandwidth to transmit and would thus would use a higher frequency. Higher frequency transmission are more easily disrupted for all sorts of reasons. Meanwhile, devices that send/receive only small bits of data, such as pagers, operate at lower frequencies that are much harder to block or jam. This is why doctors still carried pagers even when cellphones were common: even in a hospital basement or parking garage the message would still be received. Also, they didn’t transmit and so wouldn’t interfere with medical equipment.

Fun fact: I was nearly 15 minutes into the video before I realized that Idris Elba was *not*, in fact, playing Deadshot. Does kinda seem ridiculous how Waller builds these teams out of people with "unique skills" but half of the members seem to just be good with guns and that's their schtick

There actually is a difference between Bloodsport and Peacemaker. Bloodsport is a skilled leader, which the team needed. Peacemaker is willing to do absolutely anything in the name of "liberty", which Waller needed.

yea she could just as easily recruit the average navy seal or even marine and have almost the same skillset as any of them

And many of the actual "unique skills" can easily be replaced with guns. Look at Polka-Dot -- he's basically a machine-gun.

I remember watching this movie in theaters and thinking about how much Cinemasins was going to have fun with it. I do this when I’m watching a lot of movies but this one in particular seemed to be giving them the finger
