This is definetly not what I uses to listen to now, but for remembering the feeling of the old days once it's worth it! It sure was a big hit in Norway too...
TV was on in background and overheard a commercial for AT and T playing something that sounds comparable to this... havent heard it in a while so im glad I noticed it and being reminded of this!
A couple of months ago I was going through some moving-boxes which contained stuff that my brother had stashed here. In one of them there were tons of CD albums. One that caught my eye was Nordic Rave, a compilation album with a couple of unknown or not very famous artists. Antiloop was on the album with the songs Search for Ixtlan, Untitled & Beauty and the Best (aswell as a mix of Fanny Flow's Kiss of Life). I got quite nostalgic. I love these treasures you find from time to time :)
I wish Tiesto or Armin Van Buuren would make a remix of this. Not because they could possibly make it any better. But because it would revive one of Antiloops absolute classics. This deserves a comeback.
Belive? as in have faith....somesort of pass on religon maybe?... And i have to agree with ye kelfer...sweet song (a real classic) and a quite fine video :D
You who say Swedish dj´s and produsers nowdays went mainstream and this is when it was really good, you do realise that we who listened to techno/trance back in those days considered this sellout mainstream:)
Trance back then was a work of art. They cared about constructing a state of mind. Today, they are worried about making money. I can't hear an Internet trance radio. It's like having a seizure in fast forward.
thnx! i heard sandstorm LOTZ of times b4, itz just dat i didnt know wat it was called... da song adelante iz a gud one, i mean da tile means "forward" meaning to go on, itz just wat i asked for =D im looking for da richi m one tho...
@djbanana It's hard to find that today. In any genre. You can find mashups that are good but it all comes to an end too. Old Jean Michel Jarre was good, same with Vangelis. Ultravox are fine along with Oingo Boingo but today most of it is a drum machine and no matter how much bass and treble you mix into it it lacks the shape of the old music.
Well, I generally don't listen to electronic music, but when I listened to Antiloop I found it to be quite good, actually :) But as you said, there is a lot of crap out there, both within the electronic genre and the genre I like, which is metal. I'm sure there a lot of talented musicians who make electronic music. As much as I respect your opinion and taste of music, please don't put words in my mouth... :P
SVERIGE!!!! I liked this song allot when I was little, and the intro still gives me goosebumps but after the first minute it gets kind of boring with the same thing over and over again. I wish that they would made something more of it, made it more powerful, adding more stuff and more speed, maintaining that mystic, kind of dreamy feeling that you get during the first 15 seconds. Those 15 seconds are the best part of the song.
I don't know what message they are really trying to deliver, but this is what I belive is the meaning of this song/vid: The halos in the vid symbolizes (religious) belief and belief is just another commercial product sold to the masses as well as a fashion item you wear. Great song btw :)

Thumbs up if you think the 1990's was the last decade of good music.
Wow such nostalgia, wish producers still came out with this kind of music, this is bliss
Believe one of the best from Antiloop ! Thanks, for bringing such good memories.
This is definetly not what I uses to listen to now, but for remembering the feeling of the old days once it's worth it! It sure was a big hit in Norway too...
Way back when it was first released. I just found the single in my old CD´s, and am now cranking it up on full volume yet again!
