I just love this. Very good steps. Great outcome. Looks amazing & I bet it tastes awesome. I've made stews & soups many times before, but I think I will make this recipe one day soon. With so much happening of late, I think we definitely need something as wholesome & as comforting as this. Once again, THANK YOU!
Hi Dimitra,
From one Greek to another, you liked your fingers after putting in the Feta, then you washed your hands. No real Greek washes Feta from their fingers!
I love your videos and thank you so much for what you do. I always go to you when my mother is out of town!!
Thanks again and so proud of your success!
I was looking at loukoumathes on youtube because I was curious at what other peoples recipes were and I'm so glad I found you.... I was confused at what orzo was when I first saw the name of this video and then realised It's manestra which they call risoni in our supermarkets in Australia unless you go to a delicatessen they bring goods from other countries, then you will find manestra or kritharaki from greece. love your cooking videos they made me feel nostalgic .
The savory, meaty recipes are always my favorite!
Delicious!!!I Will Cook this tomorrow! !!😊
Awesome!
I watched the orzo & shank recipe 1st. Then I saw this stoup recipe. I was wondering if this could be done in a slow cooker after browning the meat & cooking the onions & garlic. Orzo added at the end before serving. I also liked the cloves & cinnamon stick from the other recipe. Would it be to much if it was added in here?
It sure can! The cloves and cinnamon would be lovely in this recipe as well. Hope you enjoy this one!!
Keffalagara cheese as well with chicken lemon augo soup is amazing. The restaurant I work at has so many cheeses to work with. If you need some import stuff feel free to ask what you'd like to order. Greek grille in north port Florida orders deserts from national bakery in tarpon springs. We also order from greek boys in Miami FL.
Love your soup I can replace that of beef if no more lamb onboard.. Delicious!😍💜💙💙💚💚
Yes you can. I've made it with beef many times :)
I love how you don't waste anything on ur shows lol so cute
Keep up the good work!
Delicious..gonna try it with whole lamb necks.
Dimitra, your dress is of a distinctive style. I’ve not seen that type of pattern as typical of US fashion. It’s elegant and traditional. Did you get it in Greece?
Thank, Melissa!! It's actually from the U.S. I think that I bought it from a store called Franchesca's :)
Hi dimitra, I'd love it if you can make some selino me xirino. Thank you 🙂
THANKS YOU GOODNESS.LAMB STEW 💯❤️🖤💚 BROWN FAMILY DAPHNE COTTON ALWAYS 💜
Look yum
Lamb, is hard to find here were I live so I substitute the lamb for Angus beef it works perfect.
We are making it will let you know
4min on each side or 2min each side? Thank you
That will depend on how high your heat is. All you are looking for, is the golden sear on the meat.
This soup doesn't do so well leftover so what I do is cook my orzo with some of the sauce just like rice and add it to the soup
since you're Greek, why don't you say their names correctly, (KRITHARAKI)
