I am getting off birth control next week. I finally decided that I am done with the way being on birth control makes me feel. I am definitely super nervous for what’s going to happen when I get off of the pill but I know that whenever happens will only be temporary. I appreciate you talking about your experience with coming off of birth control!!! I think it’s something that needs to be talked about more💗💗
Even switching birth control pills made me so messed up I didn’t sleep for over two months. Doctors hand it out like candy! I agree with you that recently I’ve definitely been speaking up and asking questions. We pay them to answer our questions and such! I’ve been toying around with coming off but scared about my skin too. However I will say that most people say after the year mark or so things start to get better! I know you’re on spiro so I’m sure that’s helping but I totally get where you’re coming from because sometimes it’s so soul sucking that it doesn’t even seem worth it. Thank you for sharing and being open about this as so many of us girls go through it ❤

It’s crazy you talked about birth control this video because I almost messaged you as I’m getting so close to just ripping the bandaid and stop taking mine. I’ve been soooo back and forth about getting off it. I’ve been on it since 7th grade & im currently 23 yo. I’m definitely so scared to get off & I still haven’t made up my mind. I have no idea who I even am off the pill & I’m tired of taking a synthetic hormone every day 😭 but I’m also not ready to have a baby. I appreciate you talking about this. I struggle so much with this topic!
I’ve heard things that said forehead acne can be related to diet, stress and sleep! I know that’s the case for me but everyone’s different. I’m with you!
I was on oral contraceptives for 10 years and got off of it and had no issues. My issues came after I had my baby and got an IUD put in. Now I have terrible mood swings, irregular periods, and AWFUL hormonal acne. I can't wait to get my IUD out and just go the natural route.
