Ghana is truly blessed: despite the primitive and unprovoked assault on Ghana's number 13 Jersey by the Nigerian number 2 Jersey and the ignorant referee dishing out a yellow card against the victim, and Thomas Partey who protested against the bias, The Black Stars of Africa once again emerged victorious. I'm a Nigerian, but I'm also a very patriotic African. The purpose of the game was to select a team to represent us (Africa) at the world cup. So to me, it didn't really matter who won. And I have always thought of my fellow African brothers as family.... Especially the Ghanians.
I congratulate the Ghana Black Stars on their victory, and hope they go on to give us (Africans) an impressive representation at the world cup.
And the Nigerian Government and my fellow Nigerians know we owe our Ghanian brothers and sisters a big apology for our barbaric and tempremental behavior at the stadium when the game was over. We ought to have taken our defeat at the hands of our fellow Ghanian brothers in good spirit. Instead, we chose to throw water bottles at them and vandalize our beautiful stadium.
Watch the Nigerian News a week from now and see what happens. I can bet my bottom dollar that the Government will allocate 10 or maybe even 20 million dollars for the repairs of damages to the stadium. And y'all already know that all of that money will go into one person's pocket probably. So, ain't we all just stupid here???
We are mad because our Ghanian brothers "took" our world cup spot. But we will be absolutely powerless when with the stroke of a "pen" some Government official siphon our money.

Please, the match between the Black Stars of Ghana and the Nigeria Super Eagles ended in a draw according to the match officials. But in reality Ghana won the match by beating Nigeria by 1 goal to nil on their home soil. That nonsense penalty was just an official gift from the match officials to compensate the Nigerians. Are we seeing the useless part of the VAR. An incident occurs, the match continues and then suddenly the referee stops the match, runs to the VAR and comes back to say the incident that occurred almost 10 minutes ago is a fault and so a penalty is awarded. The Nigerians must be ashamed of themselves saying the match was a draw game.

@Shakka Proxy my friend, learn to understand English. I didn't talk about the penalty itself but the way it was awarded almost 10 minutes after the incident occurred when the referees should have allowed the match to continue. VAR checks must be done immediately the incident occurs and not after over 10 minutes. You South Africans must stop this envy and jealousy.
The officiating was somewhat against us in certain aspects; the penalty and 2 yellow cards to Afena-Gyan and Partey were needless.

Nigeria football official said on their TV interviews that the ways and means even could not help them.
It shows clearly that they bribed the referee that's why he was bias towards us.
