I feel like as millennials we were trained to hate this movie or think it was embarrassing to like it. But now that we have all grown we can all admit how great of a masterpiece this movie is!!

It’s scary how much time passes. I was 5 when Zac Efron was discovered through this. Now he's playing fuckin’ dad roles and in his last interview I've seen of him, he was FRESH off those botox injections. Fuck time truly does fly

Yeah, his face blew up from it because half of it wasn't moving and from his last few movies, the transition was a step down from the whole Renee Zellweger reappearance after she vanished off the face of the earth level of trending

Funny thing Zac singing is from someone else & they had to dub it over Zac. But in the 2nd film that’s when he actually sings

@@TheMikeLawz Yep. Zac's a baritone and the songs were already written for a tenor before casting him. Drew Seeley stepped in to do the singing and later played Troy in the HSM concert tour.
I thought they alternated between Drew and Zac singing; some verses were sung by Zac and then some Drew.
The funniest part about Martha is that she IS an actual dancer in real life LMAOOOO. She dances on tik tok now for the children 💀💀

Fun fact: The school they used to shoot scenes was a real school & Sharpay's locker is still there painted pink so students are still using it.

Oof, I was OBSESSED with HSM when I was little. I even stole one of those stacked erasers that smelled like fruit just because it had Troy and Gabriella's face on it and my mom wouldn't buy it for me lol. But y'all should watch the next two. Especially the 2nd one. I was my favorite one to watch growing up and contains certified bops 😩👌

That in fact is Vanessa’s voice she had a small music career as well as played a role and had a solo in Grease live with Ariana grande, dove Cameron etc. she also played lead in a musical on broadway called Gigi. Zach however lipsynched for this movie. Drew sealy the dude from Cinderella story sang for him.

The first HSM is my least favorite simply because Zac Efron isn’t actually singing in the movie. It bothers me. HSM 3 is my favorite. I’ve noticed that Zac Efron is like 5’8 and they didn’t hire actors that were taller than him. Basketball players are typically tall.

I'm making a short film that is going to be an hour long and I'm going to upload it on TH-cam. I'm doing everything I can to make it safe for TH-cam, because Ive been working on it for over a year now, and I dont want it to get age restricted, blocked in certain areas, or get a copyright claim. I removed every time copy written music was used, and i removed every swear. But I have only 1 F-bomb 51 minutes in, I'm wondering if this will get me into trouble, because I dont want my entire year of work to be ruined by one word.

In the first movie, Ashley Tisdale sings for Vanessa Hudgens, in the second it's a mix of both, and in the third it's Vanessa singing. In the first 2 movies, Drew Seeley's voice is mixed with Zac Efron's. Efron sings in the third. It's just like when you guys mix your voices with the Power Rangers.
