I am not sure how to reach Nathan but as a retired So Cal surfer after a back surgery shut me down 25 years after I first learned how at North Jetty in Oceanside, CA I would like to thank you for the You Tube vids. You are a totally such a quality bro as I watch you surf Chopes and the North Shore and many other spots. I never made it to the north shore but through all of the collective video's I've learned a ton about a place I dreamed about going to most of my early years in life "Pipeline." Super HEAVY!!! Amazing Vlog! Looking at some of those beautiful frothy 2nd reef open-faced roll-ins...reminds me of a conversation that I had with Pat Curren at Shipwrecks (Cabo) in the earlier 1990's... I'd heard that he and a few of the other early N. Shore chargers used to Bodysurf Pipeline - in the days before it was considered a "surfable" wave (in part because - GNARLY!!! - and of course in part because guys were riding 50+ lb. logs... Until the first guy [¿John Peck?] made one - people regarded Pipe as a suicide mission)... He confirmed that he and some others used to bodysurf those kinds of perfect 2nd Reef bombs - but that they'd usually pull-out, before it hit the first and detonated. As someone who loves bodysurfing - and big Pipe - I'd suggest that people should give it a go... Thanks for the amazing footage. I'm totally stoked on you. Love "the Drill-do"... 😂 - if that thing goes-off in your luggage - you get to have an awkward conversation with TSA...

Great clip guys. Billabong used to have an ad campaign that went only a surfer knows the feeling., and it was a guy standing in ahuge barrell at pipe or doing a bottom turn at massive sunset. Not evry surfer will get to do that intheir life but every surfer knows what its like to try paddle out somewhere and get swamped by the rip and have to do the walk of shame. I love the reality of your videos with the training and all the hard stuff that it takes to do what you do. Keep it up
