I'm not sure if they were well marked as I wasn't driving so didn't take notice. It seemed easy to get around though not many roads so it would be hard to get lost.
Hello! I will try and answer all your questions in one response. We stayed in Lençóis. Lençóis is a 7 hour bus journey from Salvador. We were there in October. Both tour we did were full day tours around 8 hours. If you are just asking about the cave we were only in the cave for about 20-30 minutes.

You can do it yourself if you have a car.
