He just needs a backpack and a bicycle to go with those gloves and he would be the personification of the common tweaker. Tweakotomus Maximus the scientific name given to this specific group of people. Once thought to be extinct their numbers are growing rapidly.
At 3:13 the resistor in between those transistors doesn't look that happy either. The whole device looks like a neat professional piece of gear from the outside, but on the inside there are definitely shenanigans going on in terms of design choices. Good video and nice repair with good commentary along the side. Btw: what is that music called that you used?
Hello. Tell me please, can it replace a good home amplifier? What level of sound quality does it have compared to HIFI amplifiers? I have acoustics with low sensitivity and many recommend an amplifier with a good power reserve, but I'm more interested in quality. Thanks. (Crest Audio CA6)
Hi Max, At 3:20 in the video , L1's solder connection looks questionable from here [ 7000+ miles :) ] That bass response will make the neighbors think an earthquake is happening :).
Hi Max, the weird brown glue they used in this amplifier looks like that terrible one used in old equipment that became conductive with the time causing all kind of issues. Nice video, keep kicking.

Bist herzlich willkommen!
steady amplifier. Greetings from Indonesia
Wow, I have never seen the "circuit block diagram" printed on the case of a device like this!
I bet that's got loads of power, proper build quality.

Thanks for the reply and info! :)
I love power amplifiers

From the size of the power supply and the transistors used I believe this is a class A amplifier.
naah probably still class AB but high peak/rms ratio
Thank you for your comment. I missed to show the transistors on the bottom. It's an class AB amp, probably B only.
How could they do a B only amp at that high quality, or does it have a feedback that corrects the crossover distortion?
Crossover distortion are rarely audible. This is for sure a classic class B amp. A badly designed one.@@tm80notgoodwithnames58
Nice one Max!! Thanks for sharing.
Hi Paul. Thank you!

Hi Carlos. Thanks for letting me know!
audio is always nice to see :)
Thank you!
:-D
so nice
Transformer voltage and Amper how much
Pls help i got hybrid b1600 power amplifier mk5 n now it has blown up fuse n i tried to replace the fuse but it blow it too
Is very good
I need amplifier repair training is it available

Oh' I love to scrap it , and reuse those precious parts for my Audio DIY power anp..thanks for sharing
thank you. you are welcome
Kommst du aus Österreich?
Por favor , se puede saber cual es el circuito de proteccion termica ?
Reminded me of the 2 SUMO Powers I once had. Of course the build quality on the Powers was a lot higher.
👍👍👍👍🙂🙂
Hi i looking for someone who can put a new IC in my NAD amplifier around pine town
how much this item
You always make me laugh! Great video!
Nice!!
nice
Thank you Stefan :-)

And finally the amplifier works or not? there are a lot of parts to be verified, but you didn't show that.
At the end?? He shows it working great.
hook it up to a scope & get a power reading!!!
thanks for your suggestion
the sound is still loud amplifier from East Java, Indonesia
Very bad output bro.
hahaha I ended up here
you are welcome :-D
Uhuuu
:))
Thank you
