Ducati video on Sunday! Thinning out the eBike videos, they're just a way to make extra cash money to fund our REAL projects. But I'm realizing they're starting to take too much of my time ..I'd rather work on actually cool stuff.
Very nice form factor, good value with the fat tires and disc brakes! I rode a bike in this price range, before I modded it into a frankenbike. The display, buttons, shifters, motor, battery -- everything will be prone to breaking and wearing down quickly as the manufacturers push the limit on the production cost. Ride it like you stole it until it breaks, or save some more benjamins for a higher range one.
just bought this bike with a rear basket shipped to my house for $900. They were having a valentine day sale and I coupled that with a coupon code. awesome little eBike I'm using it to commute to work downtown
Awesome video man! I just got my bike and charging the battery and hoping to ride it real soon. I’ve heard nothing but positive things about it. I can definitely stick it in the back of my SUV. It’s a little heavy I guess nothing terrible Looking forward to hitting the trails
Great review. I just got mine today. 9 out of 10. Surprisingly fun. Definitely doesn’t fit in trunk, but back seat of a sedan works. Everything being quick adjust is great.
A fair Ebike review, again it's another bike where there isn't anything particularly wrong, it has a lot of familiar parts and the price isn't disgustingly huge.
Inja how long did you have to wait for the bike to come out of the container shipping ports before you got it because I've heard people have to wait 4 months to a year not just this brand but most unless you can't answer
I put a long review of my Heybike Mars on another page. Biggest complaint: Throttle max and mimium is dependent on your PA selected. So on PA 1 the top speed is 8 mph. Need to go faster, you need to change the PA setting. Throttle is not smooth at lowest speeds (per PA choice). You can make the PA 1 - 5, but your top throttle speed will then be dependent on on those 5 PA choices. I have another 26" brand name Ebike. This 500W seem to not have the power of that 26" Ebike. The smaller tires should give more torque. Yet inclines give this Heybike a working. My other E-bike has a full throttle as well as others. On my 26" Ebike set at PA1 I can hit the throttle and go to 21 mph or slow down to 3 mph.
What is your other electric bike? Interested in the heybike I just can't tell if I like the idea of a bike not having the capability of full throttle or not.
I wish you would have commented on the pedaling but maybe you only review bikes full throttle. I’m curious how hard it is to pedal such a heavy bike with such wide tires.
Looks like a great bang per buck bike to throw in your trunk and take to big swap meets and like that. The big one here is around the Portland international race way and I used to walk the whole track about 4 times and then there was the upper swap meet at the expo center that you take the free shuttle bus to.
I've been thinking that the city is not the best use for these bikes but maybe to get to places in the countryside that are usually inaccessible to bikes due to fences style, narrow bridges or swing gates, which is quite a common problem in parts of europe.
I really like those bikes but I don't like the weird folding bars, they are not as strong as I'd like them to be.... At least you can get a new stem and different bars pretty easily. New bars and a small shunt mod and I bet that thing would rip.... 😁
@@TheInja ok thanks for the reply. Thinking of buying one today on Amazon. I want to get a little trailer to pull my 2 Boston Terriers with me lol! I enjoy watching your reviews. Happy Thanksgiving!
This is a great deal ! Plus Its a name Bike. You prob can get support. You could dbl the range peddling You did not tell us if you can peddle it and not be miserable? Some you cant peddle much.
@@DreaFive0 I really need to. Unfortunately kind of trapped here. House would sell for half the value I paid for it. So I'd still be paying the other half and have nowhere to go. Yay America.
10+ miles under what the website says it would do.....just sayin 🧐 .... Wish it was under 1k .... IMO... Probably still gonna buy it ...🙃 I like it a lot..... Thanks for the review!!!
Looks like an XP 1.0 clone with an upgraded fork. So the price is good being $100 more then that was. I like the 4" tires like the old XP. Since I don't like the tire size on the newer XP I would look at this one.
I don’t believe so, I just got mine two days ago and once I got it out of the box, it is fairly heavy so I don’t imagine you could carry on a plane. Maybe I’m wrong.
This looks almost identical to the Lectric Step-Thru 2.0 which costs the same and has almost identical specs. Almost all e-bikes are made in China and I'll bet this e-bike probably comes from the same manufacturer and is just branded with minor tweaks. Yawn.
These are parts bin bikes. Nothing on either of them is made for their bikes only. That being said it is basically the standard XP not the step thru With an upgraded fork. This has the 4" tires of the original XP.
Did you pay for this out of your own pocket or a freebie? If the 2nd then you knew you were going to give it a positive review before the box was even open.
Terrible customer service. My Heybike arrived damaged. They want to send me the parts, have me buy the tools and fix it myself. I looked up reviews and that's their policy. Good luck if it arrives broken, worst customer service ever.
This is just ridiculous what unimaginative people are responsible.to name a bike "Heybike-mars" if anything this is a definite deterrent for me . I wont be seen on a bike "Heybike-mars" that's a total no no
We purchased this Vivi 27.5” electric bike and a Tentaquil 26” electric bike for our 13 and 14 year olds. th-cam.com/users/postUgkxUiL0GnyDjP32RJdd660sP8mZk4CRLTCJ The Vivi was much easier to put together. With the Vivi, there was a video link to assist with assembly which made the process easier to follow (we did put the handlebars on upside down, but it was a quick and easy fix). With the Tentaquil, the assembly was not as simple to follow, but after we messaged the company for an assembly video, it was easier and they did respond quickly. The other major differences were that the Vivi has a grip throttle on the right handle (like a motorcycle) and the Tentaquil has a push throttle that you use your thumb to activate. The monitors were also different, so if you’re looking for something specific in terms of changing the bikes functions, pay attention to what the monitor offers. We were really impressed with the overall quality and functionality of both bikes, but if you’re looking for more power and an easier assembly, definitely go with the Vivi!

Gives me Nakto vibes. I have 2 Naktos and it looks VERY similar to their style. Cool lil bike.
Super fun.

Can you please review the Buzz centry e bike (step through)
Hi what about riders that are 4' 10"? Do you have a shorter person who can try some of your bikes?
I think I can easily swap that battery much like standard ebike battery selling out there. buy 25 or 30AH for more range.
Probably not too hard!
Enjoyed the video! I wonder how this compares to the lectric 2.0..
It looks closer to the Original XP with the 4" tires. If you want a fat tire bike it looks like this is a good choice.

is the air pumper included in the package? Thanks
Front suspension fenders rack for 1099 good deal👍
