Time and time again, I am so amazed on Chinese drama. The evolution is so stunting. Chinese old cities, script, and the group of actors bring some excitement.
Here after watching the whole series. It is a must must must watch if you like historical drama with a strong female lead and equally strong male lead in a beautiful mature relationship with no silliness of long misunderstandings. The plot focuses on them as well as their work towards the betterment of the kingdom and the hidden villains trying to ruin the kingdom for their personal reasons... The drams is just marvelous. Very well written and directed and excellent acting by all... An absolute must watch. It is my new favourite in Cdrama historicals after LLTG and TLB... I may even say it like this drama more as it does not have the angst like the others... Truly amazing work by all. Really really loved it 🥰😊❤

Love the maturity portrayed by all characters in this series. I really enjoyed watching the full 40 episodes. I did not skip a bit :) Wish there's more haha but satisfied with the happy ending! Highly recommended!

This is the first time im watching FSF drama and i fell in love with his acting. FSF and JT chemistry is lit🎉 He is one of the few actors who has true acting skills and can act with eyes after wallace chung❤ LD is a difficult character to potray coz he doesnot show any expressions but the audience feels all the emotions. FSF gave us the best Ding Wang. I feel that this would also become a classic that i would rewatch time to time😊

I've never left the review in the comment sections but as a historical drama fan, it's so hard to find a good drama. I have completed this drama yesterday and i gave it 9.5/10. The story line is interesting and there wasn't any sexy scenes and the male and female leads are so match and well played. I hope this help. Enjoy ❤
