This series actually inspired me to do a chaotic succession run as well and it's really fun! I do change every 40 years because wanted to give myself some more time. I really like that you create many strong nations instead of just one massive nation. I also love that my campaign has had some similarities i.e. forming Prussia (but as Brandenburg) and also becoming the Chinese emperor (but as Shun)

There is a bug in the mission about building the Suez canal. If you click the misison while therei is a building is being built, then the mission will finish the building instead of start building the Suze canal. This is effectively cause you to lose 20k ducats because you need to pay for building the canal..
Nice save on the Mamluks. How many total episodes you planning to make in this series? Is it possible to return to a nation? The german part is still a mess and I would like to see a united and strong Germany to stop both the french and the poles. Other suggestions are Scandinavia and Andalusia.

This was a really good episode, saving mamlukes right from the edge of annexation. Think should've taken the Western Approach if not for the gameplay for the fact that you got independence with a large amount of help from western nations. Real Impressive since you started during annexation, and conceptually in terms of Nations to revive I think it was the best on the map. I Think Next Epsode should Either be Sunda or Peru. Prevent Colonisation of South East Indies or help take a blow to France and Form some rare Tags and another independent New World Republic in South America.
alright, this series is great its the best on this channel currently but I have a few suggestions on how to make better next season: 1- play for more years on every nation, preferably 50 years for each, maybe not the first nations because its so easy to make it strong, but there needs to be a system in place that will allo you to play for more years on nations in the late game. 2- I understand the need to play these type of games in vanilla, but the vanilla ai is stupid, a mod that makes the ai smarter will help a lot. 3- the method of choosing the next country to play should be more understandable, and it will make it more fun if it was more expected as well, it will be nice as I said above to make regional powers but with a timeframe in mind, for example, " in the first episode I will play a west african or north african power, in the second episode an indian one, in the third episode a new world one... etc" that will set the stage for the series to be less random and more fun to watch, since we already will know what is coming next. 4- setting goals, whether historical goals or ingame mission goals is important, and creating lategame boss powers is important, I would suggest something, pick a certian powers to be boss powers for example france or the ottomans, then play for 5 years on the boss power making sure to develop them from inside, that will make them actually powerful and not a paper tiger like the ottomans in this video, so just jumping to them each five years or for five years before fliping to the next nation would be great.
and by historical goals, or ingame goals I mean for the borders, then after reaching the set borders it will be better to play as much tall as possible on the nation for the rest of the session time.

Japan might be really easy, get a merc stack, rush forts with it. if Qing is at war they probably won't even have troops in mainland. wait, get coast. if you can build a stronger navy you can also abuse the dumbassnes of the AI by going into the southern island connected to mainland via crossing, siege a part of it, let ai attack with a few troops, block the strait and attack before they siege it back. repeat for a few years and they are left without an army, then just carpet siege everything

Not many choices left since there's not many strong countries left you haven't played, I think the most interesting one would be Morocco they are expanding into west Africa. Maybe conquer west Africa and make trade companies, kick Ottos out of North Africa and finish off Tunis. But most importantly, Spain just got their ass kicked by France and I could see France just slowly conquering them, so maybe conquer Spain for Morocco first and form Andalusia to counter France?

Weird idea for the final 30 years of this campaign. How about you just observe for the last 30 years from 1784 to 1814. You won't be able to see the nation you would otherwise build in that time prosper anyway. So it may be interesting to just watch the nations you did build up over the campaign duke it out.

I full agree with this; there's no point playing with Mamluk ideas, because you aren't reforming the Mamluks. This is Egypt.

Ottoman after 1600 is a true paper tiger, playing as songhai I was able to get 3 days long siege ticks against them during the harem plot disaster.
