    I’ve had my DJI Osmo 2 since it was released. I have had a blast with this! I recently started videoing my honeybees, and the results have been fantastic. The battery life is substantially better than the original Osmo that I had purchased for my son a couple of years ago. I fact my son has been using his original Osmo for school projects but when he realized mine had the tripod attachment he started using mine. Im going to purchase a second DJI Osmo 2 in the near future.
    Thanks for a great product and keep up the awesomeness!!!

      If you can see the Bluetooth signal from the Osmo Mobile 2, please try to connect the Bluetooth, forget the Bluetooth, shut down the DJI GO app and connect the Bluetooth again. See if this helps.

      Hello Daymond, to change the phone, you can remove the mobile device and balance the other device to it, when changing the mobile device, please make sure that the Bluetooth of the original device has been disabled, then you can connect the Bluetooth with the other device.
      For the operating time of the gimbal, it can last 15 hrs under ideal conditions with the gimbal fully balanced. More details about it, you can refer to www.dji.com/osmo-mobile-2/info#specs. Thank you.

    Started off shaky on set up, couldnt get my S9+ to level out like they say, but it was close, but when powered on and activated, I got it working. Although, I had to slide the phone holder until it JUST barely misses the gimbal's main arm, to get close to level. Havent tried this yet with my moment lenses. I got a bad feeling.....LOL

    • @DJISupportGlobal

      Hi Steve, just to verify, when shooting with Samsung Galaxy S9, the gimbal also shows up on the right side of the frame, right? In this case, you may try to put the device to the left a little bit while balancing the gimbal, or try to tilt the gimbal upwards if it is convenient. Please kindly let us know if we misunderstood the case. Thank you.

    • @DJISupportGlobal

Redmi 3s prime is not on the support list of DJI GO app, but that doesn't mean the Osmo Mobile 2 can't be compatible with it, you can try to find a local store and test it there. You can find a dealer store at www.dji.com/where-to-buy/retail-stores?site=brandsite&from=footer. Thank you.

    This thing seems to be a tricky piece of kit. I was given one as a gift about a month ago and have just now had the chance to give it a try. The first thing I noticed is this Facebook stuff...I would never entertain the idea of using FB and no one I know does, so I have to bumble through by myself. This is where videos like this can be helpful (sometimes). I unboxed it today, hooked it up to a suitable charger (I think) and it is sitting in front of me with the green light (on the right) showing steady and the first white light is flashing...is this normal? God help me if, or when, I get to the setup section...have I just been given an expensive, grey selfie stick?

    I just plugged in my usb charger (outputs 5V and 1.6A) to my new osmo 2. The green light is solid and there is only ONE white LED blinking. Is this expected behavior? Or should all 3 LEDs be blinking right off the bat (before they eventually turn solid) ?
    I'm disappointed that they couldn't include 2 essential components with this: 1) A proper USB charger. 2) A mini-tripod. Both of them combined would have costed no more than an extra 10 bucks.

    • @DJISupportGlobal
      @DJISupportGlobal  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi there, during charging, the battery level indicators blink to indicator the current battery level, your charging behavior is correct. Usually the phone charger is OK for Osmo Mobile 2 to charge. There is no tripod included, sorry for the inconvenience.

    • @gaatutube
      @gaatutube 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Just replying to my own question here to clarify the behavior .. now that I have started using the gimbal. First time when plugging in, there seems to be a random flashes of the white and green leds for few seconds and then it stabilizes with green being constant and only ONE white led blinking, Then as it charges more, then TWO white leds will blink in sequence and finally all 3 leds will blink in sequence ... until all white leds become solid (at which point it is charged).

There is no plain "DJI Go" app. The other two apps are specifically for drones. First you supposed to show how you plug the charger, in the USB port of a PC did not charge at all in 4 hrs. Second, you suppose to say that it cannot be balanced without the software installed. It is impossible to balance an Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus. I hope after it gets charged I will be able to balance it and use it.The manual has 100 pages but only 9 are in English. It doesn't say which type of adapter we have to attach, how many Volts ? So cheap company did not include an adapter. I wait until it gets charged and if I will not be impressed with functionality I will definitely return it. So far is not good at all. You don't make clear specification in the video regarding the application. Basically the video is almost useless when it could be very good and useful with just little effort or maybe honesty.

    Soooo today I learned that there is a "DJI GO" and a "DJI GO 4" app. As I already have a Mavic Air, a DJI drone, I thought the DJI GO 4 I'm using to control the drone was the right app to control all the DJI devices, and I struggled for an hour before realising that I needed an other one. It's confusing! So, if people here wonder why the app won't connect ... that's likely because you already have a drone and it's the wrong app :p

The battery is now fully charged but it doesn't seem to turn on. I press and hold the power button for around 1 to 2 seconds. The green LED light continues to blink and then it becomes solid but there is sound or activity at all. With the four lights (3 whites and 1 green) solidly lit, I can freely move the gimbal on the three axes with no resistance at all. This indicates to me that it is NOT really turned on. Questions: Am I missing a step in the process? Do I have to activate the gimbal through the app first before it works?

      Good morning! Thanks so much for your response. I did what you said and it worked! However, something doesn't seem right. The active tracking feature is very intermittent and does not maintain lock. I've drawn squares on objects and also on my face, and it acts the same in both cases. Even without moving the gimbal upon drawing the square on a target, the square goes from red to green back and forth. Even when it remains in green for a few seconds, the gimbal continues to drift and goes off screen, all the while skipping back and forth making jerky moves. I was wondering if it is because I am indoors and doesn't suppose to work indoors where the lighting is perhaps not optimal ??? When I try to track my face, I have it at an arm's length. Am I too close? I've also noticed that the gimbal icon on the upper left side of the screen flashes continuously between the gimbal icon and a square. I haven tried it outside to see if it behaves differently. Please advise....

I notice that the DJI App is version 3.1.43...might it need updating? The light display on the gimbal is now 3 white lights and the right hand light is glowing amber.

      Hi Bazz, thank you for getting back. May we know the mobile device you are using? Please try to update the app and try again. Just to verify, is it the status LED blinking yellow or it is the solid yellow color? If it blinks yellow, please try to press the power/mode button twice quickly to try to re-center the mobile device first.
      If the issue persists, please kindly provide us with an operating video for further confirmation, thank you very much.

      Hi, since I last wrote, different things have been happening. in the beginning, it would take me 5 or 6 attempts to get the phone and the gimbal to connect and when it did, the connection remained for about 10 seconds. I tried again about 10 minutes ago and it connected straight away and proceeded to offer me a tutorial...now it is stuck at the " point the gimbal where you want it by gently moving it with your hand" ..!
      I'm using a Motorola Moto G (2nd gen) phone and the app is installed there...because it is the only camera I have available, there is no way I can make a video because it's mounted on the gimbal!

    Hi, can I use iphone with case?

    • @DJISupportGlobal

      Hi Canal, it is not suggested mounting the mobile device with the case on it. But you can try and balance gimbal, if it can be balanced normally, it is okay. Thanks for your attention.

      Hi Comel, is the LED indicator on the Osmo MObile 2 blinked when you charge it? If yes, we suggest that you try another charger for charging. See if this help.
