The film is amazing; it's called Bombshell, and its currently showing on Netflix. The film is base on actual events; however, their lesbian story is very brief but essential for the film. I totally recommend it; if you have a chance to see it let me know your feedback.

There are so many Lesbian films I would love to watch but I cannot watch subtitles why can’t you dub the voices into English because I cannot watch the film and read the subtitles please this is so unfair. X

The film is called #Bombshell; the movie is great and relevant to our days and all the #metoo movement. She places the picture back in the drawer after realizing that the company she works for is still homophobic, despite announcing new changes.

Im a young looking 66 but my life, because I am gay was very traumatic. I never fitted in. In the 60s you had to look mannish, although I was a "tomboy" I still like a little make up, no dresses or skirts though just me ..the years and fashion passed and I still don't fit. I wish I was young again in these times as its so beautiful to me to see such diversity. Thanks for these wonderful films. I still can dream.

i've watched portrait of a lady on fire so many times, that movie is amazing

For us Indians Ek ladki koh deka toh aisa laga is the worst movie ever made. There is no depth to the story and no appropriate representation of the lesbian community. Please watch Fire (1996) directed by Deepa Mehta instead. Fire was officially banned by the government coz it was way ahead of its time, but a definite watch.

Incidentally, there have been some lesbian Indian films before, though not very many. Deepa Mehta's film "Fire" came out (so to speak) in 1996.
I remember that film, sad but beautifully made.
But the happy ending was implied. She survived the fire, literally and metaphorically.

Some of the movies are really good (that Bollywood one for example) but 'So my Grandma's a lesbian' was akward AF and ended very quickly and like they didn't had the time to do it properly...
