I’ve been to Mexico twice and they always have the most polite staff and CLEAN facilities. They work way harder and have better work ethic than most people here in the US. Last time we came back from Mexico and landed at the airport, I went to the bathroom and every stall was filthy and most not flushed!! I was like welcome back to America!
I don’t think the CDC is targeting the cruise industry. I work in the entertainment industry and have been furloughed since March with no return to work date. I believe there are tons of people out of work all over the world. I can’t wait to try Cabo, but we LOVE Cancun.
It sounds like a nice clean 🧽 Hotel 🏨. It’s also, nice ur helping the locals. I do the same when I travel, but my friends from the islands 🌴 tell me be careful. Its so sweet, u guys r sharing.
Traveling with heart, tipping large to help the local people -- amen! Yet another reason I'm one of your new subbies. Never too late to join the party. God bless you both.
I think that in order for cruislines to provide safety for their passengers, they would need to sail at no more than 50% occupancy which would cause the lines to lose even more money in the long run. People spend much more time on a ship than they do on an airline. In addition, the airlines require you to wear masks. I can guarantee you that people would rebel if they had to wear masks during the majority of the cruise.
Happy Anniversary you guys...I'm a newbie to ya'll channel. I'm a TA as well, yesss I'll be so glad whenever all this stuff is over! We did Cancun Mexico last year for our 16 year Anniversary and we love it. Can't wait to go back next year..So take care and be blessed!
Hey Mr & Mrs Traveler, my husband and I were on NCL Escape at the end of February and the cruise staff were sanitizing everything 24 hrs a day. The only problem I notice were the cruise guess not following safety guileless that NCL but forth. When a staff member would ask some of the guess to please sanitize their hands, guess would cuss them out and nothing was done. I do feel people who do not follow the guidelines need to be kicked off the ship. Other than that, 1 time for cruising . Happy Anniversary.
Hope it's not to late to hit y'all up with 1's ... 11111111111111111111111111!!! :) So GREAT to see a couple enjoying their wedding anniversary and a beach vacation to the fullest!!! Much love from NJ
Happy 20th Anniversary, again... you both are so a lovely couple, continued Blessings! That is a Gorgeous view... If I flew (scared of flying), I would go to Cancun, went there in the 90's it was really nice then.
Absolutely agree the CDC is not playing fair with the cruise lines! I want to cruise! We are heading to Playa Del Carmen in October after my second cruise was cancelled this year!
Happy Anniversary 😊 Stay safe thanks for all of the details and information. I will be contacting because I don't know if Carnival will be canceling our trip next year and you're so knowledgeable
Please put together a petition. It isn’t right that they haven’t put together any rules and regulations for cruising so they can start preparing to make the changes. What the CDC is doing is Very unfair. I miss cruising so much and unfortunately I don’t see it happening anytime soon. Love you guys.
You guys are awesome!! Thank you for all the videos. I have a question on tipping at a all inclusive resorts. What’s a good rule of thumb for the bar, room service and excursions?
Can you send us when you get back how and ware your booked your Cancun trip from airlines to the resort please. Live in Daytona and we need to go asap. Thanks and love your videos.
Happy anniversary!!! It was our 20th anniversary this past April, but our anniversary trip to Miami was cancelled. 🙁 What hotel/resort did u stay at in Cancun?? Why so secretive about it? If it is as nice as u say share the info.
I think the cdc is unfair with the curise lines. But airlines can pack an air plane full. But the curise lines are not usa company that's why they are not sailing.
We have been traveling back to Cancun at the all-inclusive resorts since 2012 and we love it down there. What resort are you guys staying at in this video? Iberostar the Grand is our favorite resort. SO sorry we dont do cruises.
Great minds think alike. I booked a cancun all inclusive in September since my b-day cruise was cancelled. Felt safer with their lower numbers, plenty of drinks on the beach, and nice food. Any tips on arrival to the airport, customs, and finding a shuttle? I do have a shuttle prebooked. This is my first all inclusive. I don’t know about my excursions yet. I’m tentatively booked on a chitzen itza tour, a 4 stop snorkel w/best of taco places, and a atv with ziplines. When you were at the resort were they selling them? Just curious if they were actually running right now. I have this all booked through viator so I can cancel up to 2 days before the excursion. Just wondered since one of the cancun youtubers said the beaches were technically closed (but was being ignored) and I wasn’t sure if itza was out because of the crowds.
Do you think it’s because most of the cruise lines are not American owned? I was really wondering if the airlines were spacing people out but I keep hearing the same story you have about them packing The planes out. It is not fair.
I'm ready to start cruising. I canceled my October cruise because it's looking like cruising is not going to happen anytime soon. I'm hoping my December cruise will still go. I've canceled three vacations already this year. I'm tired of my surroundings. Hopefully Mexico stays open. Maybe I'll go there instead this year if my December cruise gets canceled.
I wouldn't give rump the glory. Cruise lines go to places that don't want a boat full of possible covid coming into their poor countries/islands. You do know we have the most cases? But yet I see no favors for a business that pays no taxes in our country
Happy Anniversary guy's. I'm ready to cruise, but the way Florida is blowing up with the virus right now I don't see cruising happening any time soon. 😞😞😞😞
The CDC needs to get the cruise ships going, as this one industry effects so many nations worldwide. Their holdback by not allowing the industry to resume can easily grow into a global depression.. The cruise industry employees hundreds of thousands of people in the US and adds $7.97 Billion yearly to Florida's economy (according to CLIA). That's a huge loss of revenue for the state.
Disney, Universal ect. parks maybe able to absorb the workers in Florida from the cruise industry. Disney has no college program at this time and they sent their international people back home. I'm hearing they are hiring. I know the travel industry is suffering Mr. Mrs. Traveler. I know this has to be affecting you
The CDC isn't sanctioning against the airlines anywhere near the extent it is against the cruiselines. I feel you, Mr. Traveler, when you discuss how folks are crammed on an airplane -- no seats skipped, utterly ridiculous and highly dangerous. Like you said, Mrs. Traveler, if the resorts can effect new policies such as lower guest capacity (like the 29% where y'all were, at Ibero), and to spray the antibacterials and help guests and employees maintain social distancing, then the cruiseships can do so. But the CDC needs to give the cruiseships a chance to effect those changes. Masks are a big, big part of it (of lowering the chance of infection), and so is social distancing -- because we all know that no one needs to be coughing and/sneezing for Covid-19 virus to spread -- must it's hard to understand why a government agency would bop the cruiselines over the head and not bop the airline industry over the head. Unfair. NY and NJ flattened the curve months ago without a vaccine. It isn't a perfect fix, but it happened. So the other part of the equation is the U.S. public -- in every state -- putting personal and social responsibility in action. Until that happens, we Americans going to resorts while asymptomatically carrying Covid can further spread the virus to the local people in a vacation destination -- people who already are suffering from severely decreased tourism. And, of course, asymptomatic Covid carriers will infect other travelers. I don't understand how the CDC couldn't make it so that cruising could start up again (with certainty) in U.S. waters by September/October, let alone by December.
I’ve been to Mexico twice and they always have the most polite staff and CLEAN facilities. They work way harder and have better work ethic than most people here in the US. Yes, we absolutely loved it.
Thank you, your videos are always so informative. Beautiful couple 💕🍹🌴

NCL, even b4 the pandemic, NCL cleans & sanitizes all the time. That’s one of the reasons, I love NCL.
LaToya R well said.

New Subbie here!! I like your videos. I love cruising too. Happy Anniversary and be safe. ❤❤
That’s disappointing visitors won’t wear a mask. People should be more respectful to others.
Absolutely agree the CDC is not playing fair with the cruise lines! I want to cruise! We are heading to Playa Del Carmen in October after my second cruise was cancelled this year!
Let us know how it is coming back into the states, through customs !!

Now I understand your ranting after hearing about other people’s plane ride (at full capacity) experience.
I think the cdc is unfair with the curise lines. But airlines can pack an air plane full. But the curise lines are not usa company that's why they are not sailing.

I’d feel safer there at a resort than on a cruise ship now! 😷
Me too

What I don’t know is do cruise lines pay taxes to the US? It could answer some questions. Elle you looked scared on that airplane😷
You write it up and I will sign it.
What resort did you go too Oleo Cancun ?
Happy Blessed Anniversary❤🎂❤
Cruise lines duck paying taxes by registering in other countries .. trump is teaching them a lesson
I wouldn't give rump the glory. Cruise lines go to places that don't want a boat full of possible covid coming into their poor countries/islands. You do know we have the most cases? But yet I see no favors for a business that pays no taxes in our country
I'm just heart broken with the CDC!!
Happy anniversary
Please add me to the complaint list to the CDC. Very unfair to the cruise lines.
I’m here for the CDC response.... 😜😜😜
Happy Anniversary guy's. I'm ready to cruise, but the way Florida is blowing up with the virus right now I don't see cruising happening any time soon. 😞😞😞😞

What is the name of the resort?
Iberostar

Nope, the CDC is Absolutely Correct. The Cruise Ship Outbreaks were Unprecedented.
I Liove a Cruise but unfortunately, it just doesn't work right now.

You guys look so young. I’m shocked that you guys are old enough to be married for 20 years.

Speak Mr. Traveler, it's messed up, with how they're doing the Cruise industry, I think it's political b.s.
Not tip. That is totally atrocious...🤨
Happy Anniversary!!
