LTWAM There is an upcoming video (that's completed) about Daisy and Luigi. Beyond that, I haven't written any scripts that incorporate those characters yet. Obviously since Rosalina and Luma are new, I will be working them into more new material, but I haven't gotten to it just yet. I'm happy to hear you enjoy these characters, I will try my best to continue to feature them!
It's great to see the real classic plush videos makers come back after a while, you weren't away for so long, but you have been more on track. Cute Mario Bros. just finished there movie, and SML is making video after video (although not with that same quality, no offense :]) since 2014. Can't wait for more.
I truly appreciate your comment, but I'm a bit confused . . . Where did I go? I know it's been a month since my last upload, but does that count as being "away". I'm not trying to be rude, I'm actually really interested in what you have to say! It's just, I uploaded more in 2014 than I have in three years! Also, uploading has been monthly recently because I'm still in film school. The last two videos I uploaded have been in my archives for about a year.
Good point, I did check the date on your videos and you have been updating more than I thought, I guess I'm used to having other plush makers being "gone". But still, it's pretty awesome that we're not seeing the plush videos fading away!
Just a heads up though, my main focus for 2015 is to increase my stockpile of videos, so it's likely my uploading schedule will continue to be sporadic. The reason I'm doing this is because I want to start uploading once a week at some point in the future.

This was an amazing video you made! It was incredible and I never knew that Peach had a word pipe to Bowser's Castle! She is a big attention hog! Anyway, I say that my favorite video game princess is a three-way tie! They are Peach, Rosalina, and Zelda because Peach is a good fighter in Smash Bros, so is Zelda, and Rosalina has lumas and they are awesome. Can't wait for the next video!

I truly appreciate your kind words and honest feedback! This video actually isn't "new". I made this a year ago, BEFORE I made "Let's Kill Luma". In technical terms, my most recent video is "Luigi's New Years Bash 2014". However that video was pretty rushed since I'm always crunched for time to make those New Years videos. If you want to see what my current quality of video making is like, check out my video "Home Alone". That's around the level I'm at! Also the thank you specifically for the comment about the editing. My concentration in film school is in post production, so film editing is kinda my dream job!
I know his year your just uploading lots of Stache shorts but will you be uploading more Luigi Time and Mushroom Kingdom SB?
We'll see what I accomplish over the Summer. As of now there's not set plan for MK Storybook (Sorry, it's my least popular series, so I feel its not the biggest priority at the moment). As for Luigi Time, I'm trying to finish all five episodes of season four before I release any on TH-cam. Whether or not that happens this year . . . We'll see. HOWEVER, I have been really interested in remaking both "Luigi Time - Super Mario" and "Luigi Time - Luigi's Mansion". So maybe those videos will come at some point this year!
that's great news abou Luigi Time but I really loved Mk Story Book. Especially Chain Chomps Challenge. I did see Home Alone and that did have A LOT of editing and was really funny. I know I took you a year to make but I would like to see more videos like that in the future.( not a demand, just a request.)

I liked this it was funny also I had some random ideas for other stache shorts
1. Bowser is tired of loosing and luigi is tired of mario getting all fame for saving peach so the two team up to destroy mario (just a thought I know you've done similar plush videos just something I thought would be funny)
2. Mario is off on island delfino by himself and bowser attacks the castle and defeats luigi and peach tries to escape bowsers castle.
3.(last one) wario and waluigi go around trying rob peoples houses for gold and eventually steal DKs bananas (after failing to get gold they get hungry) and the two get in a big fight with DK and diddy

Thank you, but I haven't made a new video since my time in film school. Everything you have seen was self taught. As stated, my past few videos were made last spring/summer. Also, I have multiple film professors since it is a college I am attending. Actually, "Home Alone" was made after my first semester of film school, so that best shows what I am capable of. Although, I'd argue that I've learned a lot since my first semester.

+Stachebros How do you make videos with the green screen? Is there a certain way of doing it?
Trey Thevideogamer Gameplay I'm not entirely sure I understand your question, but either way I'll try to explain (Let me know if you need more clarification). I film videos such as the one you just say on a cotton green screen. When filming, I use three light sources: two soft box lighting rigs, and an overhead fluorescent light. It is very important to have good lighting while filming on a green screen. You want your background to appear one shade of green (With bad lighting, there will be shadows, creating multiple shades of green). A high quality camera also helps when filming on a green screen. I use a canon xa10. When it comes to editing, to remove the green from the footage, you use an editing technique called "Chroma Key".

Rosalina's pretty funny in this (even though I hate Rosalina). My favorite princesses are Peach, Daisy, and Lucina. And I don't think Rosalina is actually a princess, Nintendo never said she was one. She does look like one though so I guess it doesn't really matter.
SonicBoom403 Apparently in the instruction manual for Mario Galaxy, Rosalina is labeled as a princess. And awesome, what do you like most about those other princesses?
Sometimes Nintendo can be a little confusing. :P I like Peach mainly because of how she is in Smash Bros, but she's pretty too. I like Daisy for her personality and I feel that she is underappreciated. Lucina's cool too, I really like her when I played Fire Emblem Awakening after the new Smash Bros games came out.
SonicBoom403 Peach is a great fighter in Smash Bros, I play as her a lot actually! I really wish Nintendo would put Daisy in a legit video game. It would be cool to see what her move set would be/how she would fit into story lines.
Yeah, I'd love to see Daisy in the Mario platformers, as long as she doesn't get kidnapped.

StacheBros trust me you should really try to get the koopalings you could make so many hilarious videos with them! Just look at LuigiFan00001 he's got over 50,000 subs. P.S. great video!
While I think they are awesome characters, there are a few complications with me getting the Koopaling plushes. First off, StacheBros is a one man act. I already have A TON of characters, which means I have been running out of new voices to use that sound distinct from one another. Secondly, adding all those characters would mean my current characters would get less and less screen time. I already fee bad enough for rarely featuring characters like Yoshi anymore. Finally, I have about thirty video ideas I'm trying to get through, none of which include the Koopaling plushes. So if I WERE to buy them all, they would not appear in videos for another two years or so. This has happened with all my new plushes. I bought Bowser Jr. about two years before I actually used him. Rosalina and Luma were purchased over a year ago. There are still some more characters I own that I'm waiting to reveal. I hope you can understand, there's only so much I can do!

I really love Super Mario Galaxy and its sequel. My only complaint about it is that it's too easy. Previous installments in the series have a much higher difficult curve, which I prefer in video games.

Thank you for the feedback! Spirit Tracks Zelda kicks some serious butt, she's pretty dang awesome! I also loved the redesign of Zelda in Skyward Sword. Nintendo made her very interesting in both those games, I'm curious to see what she's like in the Wii U rendition!
StacheBros I don't have a Wii U, but I wonder what the next Zelda game will be like. For the longest time, I've always wanted Nintendo to make a direct sequel to Spirit Tracks.
There's rumor that it's a sequel to Majoras Mask, or will have mask transformations. There's an interview online where there's a quote saying that the Happy Mask Salesman has some new masks to show off. Personally I really hope the next zelda is similar to Majoras Mask, because it's my favorite installment in the series!

When Rosalina blew up bowser's castle
Hey StacheBros, my birthday is coming up and I want to start making Mario plush videos like you do on a new channel. What kind of camera and editing software do you recommend?
I have nothing to recommend because I don't know what skill level you are at, but I'll let you know what I currently use. My camera is a canon xa10, and my editing software is Vegas Movie Stuido Platinum 11.0.
StacheBros I guess im kind of a beginner, i have made plush videos on an ipad with my friends and have edited them on imove but thats about it. Do you know of any good cameras and editing software for beginners?
I started using Vegas when I was about 11, and it was initially very difficult for me. Years later, I still use that program and I guess the result speaks for itself. You could try Vegas out, just realize that you might be confused at first. If you're serious about video making, you have to dive into the hard stuff eventually, so maybe now's the right time to start. There are plenty of tutorials you can check out. You could also use something like Avid or Final Cut (which is what the film industry uses). Vegas doesn't work on Macs (If you have a mac), so those other two could be good options. As for cameras, any camera really works fine. I'm assuming at your level you want automatic controls. What I mean by this is, there are certain devices like focus rings that you need to control manually on a professional camera. Cheaper cameras likely use all automatic features. If you want to make high resolution videos though, higher priced cameras are usually better. I honestly would just do some research first!

Marioluigiplushbros Rosalina is a brand new character, so I'm still kinda learning how to incorporate her into things. Her main character structure is based off the idea that she doesn't understand how things work in the Mushroom Kingdom since she's lived in space for such a long time. I would appreciate it if you could specify what parts of her character are annoying so I can try and see if I can fix her in the future.
StacheBros Ah, I see, you've just got to figure out how to use her the right way. I'm sure you'll eventually get her to be as great as the rest of the StacheBros characters.
It just sort of bugs me the way she acts with the other princesses. She just seems to annoy them too much, possibly if they became better friends, it might be more interesting. Possibly Peach, Daisy, and Rosy could team up to get back at Bowser? That'd be a great video. :D (a little rivalry between them is fine by me, but I feel like the hatred is a tad strong here)

Marioluigiplushbros Thank you very much for the honest feedback. Its comments like these that really help me develop future content. When I created this video, I created a character profile mechanism that has these components:
-Peach idolizes Daisy, but hates Rosalina
-Daisy idolizes Rosalina, but hates Peach
-Rosalina idolizes Peach, but hates Daisy
Now, when I say "hate" its not like Mario's hatred for Diddy. Its like a sorta sisterly hate. They are all friends, but each of them has their favorite, and least favorite friend. Rosalina didn't exactly follow this structure in this video, so I don't know if in future videos she will act like this. Either way, the main focus of the princesses is their friendship!

Why are the characters acting less friendly to each other now, there is more arguing in this video than I see in a regular StacheBros video.
It's just the princesses' dynamic with each other. They've never been in a video together which is why their arguing seems new. It's not that my videos are less friendly, it's that this new relationship dynamic between these new characters involves them have the typical kind of friendship where everyone gets on each other's cases. It's all playful, they don't actually hate each other.
StacheBros This has existed ever since Let's Kill Luma, I guess it's too new for me.

I like Rosalina's back-story and design, and Palutena's personality and abilities.
I don't know much about Palutena having not played any Kid Icarus games, but I definitely agree that Rosalina has a very interesting and mysterious backstory!
I highly recommend getting Kid Icarus: Uprising for 3DS, it's up there in my top three favorite games ever

StacheBros She is the princess of the race called the High Entia in the game. She is probably one of the best fighters in your group as she can use ether attacks on the enemy. She also, in my opinion, one of the tragic characters in video games because (Spoilers to the game),
She ends up losing her father, brother, and more than half of her people to the enemy. But this also show how strong a character she is by keep going through the adventure despite her loses. She is also one of my favorite characters from the game as well.

No, I filmed this in the spring of last year. Then I edited it off and on for a few months. I think I finished it early in the Summer!

Because I've been trying to build a stockpile of videos that I could upload at any given moment. I haven't had the opportunity to actually make a new StacheBros video since "Luigi's New Years Bash 2014". The reasoning is because I am at film school, where I do not have access to my plushes. Last spring I decided to start making a stockpile in the event that I ran out of things to upload due to college. The second reasoning for this stockpile is so I can upload more frequently. Ideally, I didn't want to upload this video or my last one when I did (But I felt pressured to put something new up since a few weeks had gone by). I ultimately want to upload once a week, so hopefully I can build this stockpile up even more so than it is now!

I don't wanna sound mean, but the rosalina plush you use, isn't exactly the best version they have, theres a rosalina plush made by sanei, (the same company that the peach and daisy plushes) that in my opinion is better quality. If theres a reason behind using this one, i understand, just thought i should tell you :D
Potato Turtle I agree that the Sanei plush is the best. Believe it or not, I made this video a year ago. During that time, the Rosalina Sanei plush was neither announced or in existence, so I purchased the only existing Rosalina plush. That is why she looks so odd!

I never replace plushes. Ideally, yeah I'd like to use the sanei, but I'm not going to. I like to keep things consistent.
