Victoria was nearly 70 & tho there can be heard a little scratchiness in her tone, she remained the great singer she had always been, beauty of voice, personality, musicianship, interpretation, multilingual. A v. great soprano whose influence on humanity has not diminished, on the contrary. The best, imo. So moving, so sincere, so modest, yet wanting to communicate w the one gift she acknowledged as being in possession of.
