i changed my xj6 diversion clutch today on my garage...you don't need to remove the basket to take the wire, i just used a small screwdriver to remove it and to put together. There are some holes in the bottom of the basket. in one of them you can see the wire end. Use the screwdriver to pop them out. To install, just insert one end in the hole and push down with screw driver to lock it. Then, with one end secured make a loop around the grooved part of the clutch basket and insert the other end in the same hole of the first one.
А я сделал это из струны от гитары. Ещё дешевле можно сделать из поводка блесны..но снимать барабан надо в любом случае. Это не займет много времени и надёжней.
А щачем жта пружына нужна??? Я розобрал свой мотоцыкл, и этой пружины небыло, куски валялись в картере.. а сцепление работало хорошо. Как обычно... Вопрос.. зачем она нужна?? Какая у нее функция ? @@muzicalCat
Waste of money. Don't follow the steps in clip. As Volcano wrote, you don't need to take out the basket. Follow Volcano's instructions. Friction plates should be wet (1 day soaking in motoroil). Clutch plates should be replaced too along with springs. Torque wrench should be used for at least two operations - springs and screws for clutch cover. There's a dot on the basket matching the dot on basket cover. These need to be alligned. Mechanics should use service manual. People from the clip weren't.

They made everything in any way, it's not like that. I don't want those guys put their hands in my motorbike!
