We're from the US (California) and Ruda in the swimming pool reminds me of when we went to Germany and my son, then three years old, made a friend. They couldn't speak each other's language, but they had the most amazing time together whenever they met at the park. They kept in touch and are both now 27 years old, and still very good friends. They learned how to communicate over the years.
