I'm really glad that you enjoy their music. I'm not sure you know or don't that most of people from the West don't enjoy them. Their reason is that GFRIEND's music is boring and non girl crush type, not upbeat electronic music, blah blah. But, Asians do enjoy them.
It's not happen if you are musician..because musician appreciate instruments

Yeah! I'm just a music listener and there's no specific music type that I don't like. At first, I'm not sure why I do like GFRIEND. Gradually, I'm sure I'm interested in their music instrumentals( plus Eunha's aegyo, Yuju's highnote and their synchronized choreo). And I agree that musicians surely love their music according to the ReacttotheK.

This is so true and it has always annoyed me. Sometimes I seem like a stranger in my own country regarding taste in music.
The first song that I listened from Gfriend are Sunrise... The song is like not have girl crush or cute or sexy so yeah... I really like Gfriend type of song
"Rainbow" is among my favorite tracks among Gfriend's discography. The melody in their songs always gives us a huge lift. So much fun to listen to them.

Haha yeah, 14:28 One Half (along with Flower Garden) are gfriend's side tracks that has the most syncopations (the breaks). these two songs literally has these syncopations in every single chorus XD
*also 'Someday', you'll find this type of breaks on 'Someday'. it's on the Snowflake album.
that is not syncopation btw. the parts you're pointing out are still on beat but the emphasis is delayed or given to the upbeat as opposed to the downbeat of the meter. syncopation is the disruption of the accented beat in regards to the given metric pattern (think of the bu-reo-ra motif in navillera)
@@comsatteur6893I'm not sure tho. I watched other musicians' reactions to GFriend as well and when it comes to parts like that they called it a syncopation. So what I know about syncopation is when there is one beat is missing and when it comes back it gives emphasis to the rhythm. So maybe they're wrong? I don't know XD

@@somebuddy. yeah idk why that term caught up to the kpop reaction community. there are many videos about syncopation on youtube that explains them clearer if you want to be sure

Belief is my favorite Gfriend intro, it always makes me smile TT So happy to see you listen to Rainbow (the song) for the first time, it is a major healing song for me. When they disbanded, I had a hard time listening to it for a while since I always think about the lyrics when I listen to it. The imagery of a rainbow shining over your heart’s scars always makes me cry, lol
