You know what 760’s video really reminds me of? 6988’s May tunning of the GTW 6 chime form last year. Has a deep tune. Also legit reminds me of the Nathan in use at D&S. Can’t remember the engine. Fantastic video can’t wait to see your tribute
760's whistle I actually preferred over the original tuning of 765's whistle from last year's STIV (2019). 760's whistle just screams NKP Berkshire in my opinion. It also reminded me of 759 in a sense
Idk, I like this one as much as her regular. It sounds quite a bit like 1225's whistle but more of NKP 759's whistle but a little deeper. I'm not really a fan of 1225's whistle but 759's is ok and this one that 765 was wearing had it's own unique ring to it and made 765 sound like what most of the Berks sounded like.
@@GTRailFanProductions I just think the brass cast 700 whistle needs a slight tuning because it high speed it just doesn't seem to have that "chime" like other whistles like 760s.
@@ct737 No it was a guest whistle off of NKP 760. Here's the video link of FWRHS saying that it was a guest whistle off of NKP 760 to bring awareness to the NKP 757 Campaign. th-cam.com/video/lsvVdEtOEME/w-d-xo.html
Technically it's the same type of whistle she has stock, a Nathan 6 chime. The difference is that the way the whistle is positioned now has the low note pointing out rather than one of the higher notes. She would sound MUCH better overall if they would remove that stupid whistle shield. I know they did it to make it how it originally was and keep steam out of view, but it really isn't that necessary.
She is returning to the Cuyahoga National Park again this year. NKP 765 turns 75 years old this year so I'd hope there would be other excursions other than on the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad, because if they're relatively close I'd rather go chase that instead of Steam In The Valley because the security measures taken last year was ridiculous.
Absolutely wonderful

760s whistle has such a ghostly wail to it. It’s a great whistle
Yeah it is. It is so much better than the whistle 765 currently has.
Gorgeous steamer, I got to be a car host on the 90 & 62 this year! Fantastic shots!
Thank you and that's cool!
That whistle is like a piano or smth
Really nice video!
This sounds way better than 765's current whistle (NKP 700).

@@BalticFilms144 yeah. I like 765's whistle from 84-93. I think that's my favorite over the 6 chime now but not by much between the 2.
@@GTRailFanProductions It's the same whistle that 765 wears nowadays, but they "fixed" it. Funny how it sounds better when it's messed up.

I love this whistle! I wish the 765 wore this all the time, since it’s prototypical to the class! Thanks for sharing!
Yeah! I like the one she wears normally as much as I do this one!

Sounds exactly like 759, 1225, 6325 and 261 as well as a NYC Dreyfuss Hudson!
NYC Hudsons didn't sound like it
I respect this engine a LOT!
I hope some day I can see her for myself

760's whistle on the 765
Love it tons of action
Thanks!
1:33 I set up right next to you!
Really? My mom was standing there with my Sony CX220 at 1:33 while I was on the Brecksville Bridge with my Sony 4K Camera
9:42mini whistle salute
That was just an extra blast to finish off the whistle sequence.
Amazing shot at Brecksville station!
Thanks!
Whistle Productions, check out my Brecksville shot too
Keep 760's whistle on 765
too bad its taken off now.
@@maxwellsteam5810 well at least glad to hear it's voice was heard again after these years
@@maxwellsteam5810 wonder if it’s now on 757?
Sounds like 261, 760, 1225 and 3751
