As a former US Navy WAVE during the Vietnam era I greatly appreciate the reality of this interesting movie. We see ourselves as individuals. When serving your country you are a team! One must always follow the orders of the Chief and the Commanding Officer. Even the CO of a ship will ask the advice of a Navy Chief!
Submarine is the dangerous arms of any service and nightmare for enemies. But the biggest nightmare is when sailors face plastophobia which literally derail the mission and creates disturbances whereas leads to lack of commando and control. That's the reason the Navy picks up the strongest officers and sailors who are mentally strong and physically tough.
Great Video! Seems absolutly realistik. And not at least it is one of my favorite films. At first I wouldn't look this film as I have seen them on youtube. But then I stand on the screen like attached. 👍
