Yeah, seems like. I've been using console command since morrowind to customize my new games, but at least this gives console players a way to do the same.
As an Xbox player this would be very handy for people starting their journey, but I personally do not care about alternate start mods, especially because my main character has 27 days of playtime, nearly 28 (currently 665 hours), and if I am "starting over" I would rather it be an Alternate Universe where much has changed. I just saw yesterday that somebody has created "NG+ Framework" which allows modders to make their own Universes, and injects it into the pool of Alternate Universes that Vanilla Starfield offered players. If this had been a 500C Alternate Universe, it would have been more worth it for me ... or if you had no choice outside character creation and everything was randomized for replayability. Would also be hilarious if any of those ships was higher than an A Class, and you were stranded at a random location in the Universe with nothing but random starting gear. However, definitely not worth the cost as it currently is. Thanks Crimson.
This is probably the most bare bones start mod and if they want to charge for something they should at least make unique starts with quest lines to go with them and unique areas to.
This author has another mod that randomizes the start. It basically puts you in a random planet in a random poi (I think the gear is preset) and you need to get the key to the ship (I think also randomized) from an enemy in that poi, after that the game continues normally. I wish this mod had an option to randomize some of the options (mainly the starting planet) like the other mod.
I agree that it is a bit clunky and definitely barebones in its current form. It's basically doing a lot of player.additem and coc [name of location]. As for the content, you give me the option to start with a Beowulf and Negotiator and I'm going to do it. Then it is just a matter of getting the Despondent Assassin from Akila and you've got your bases covered. That ship stumped me a bit, and seems to be a custom mix between the Trebuchet and Warwolf. The Stingray is probably something similar. I imagine the Mantis is just the Razorleaf. So they might just be casual names for ships encountered on quests.
🤔 I’ll be real honest on this one, that after 9 minutes, I honestly have no real idea what this mod is about at all. It hit me earlier than that wondering, but I just kept watching that maybe it’ll change my mind. Then after a while I was like how much time has gone by and I realize that after 9 minutes I still have no honest idea what’s it about. If what it about can’t grab a person attention in first minute, then to me in my opinion it isn’t interesting and this is a paid mod. Not only that it’s more expensive than some extremely well made paid mods as a quality benchmark.
Basically it’s something you could easily do with console commands without paying 500 credits. Thanks for the review

The problem with Bethesdas paid mod policy seems to be anything goes and with no quality control so as long as they make money that's ok
Service Industry Uniform: You wake up behind the counter in the Akila Chunks :D

for console i can see this as a good mod mostly just for the ability to start with no ship so we can really roleplay that aspect
Coffee time. Thanks for the warning video. Great review.
At this point, most are starting ng+.. darkstar astrodynamics and into the stars ng+expansion are a must👌

I’m still in my first universe on my main save since release, do not ask me how many hours I have 😅
Have you seen a mod that removes the need for landing gear
For PC players this mod may not be anything special. But as an xbox player without access to console commands this could be super helpful
I have to say this is one of the best new start mods I’ve used
Imma get it
Another pass for me. Cool in concept, but execution needs a lot of work. I can do 90% of what this mod does with cheat terminal or PC console commands
Looks very clunky and for 500 creds??? No thank you. Review was helpful.
Very disappointing mod imo. It feels too clunky, un-immersive and cheesy.
