How To Use MidJourney "Privately" By Creating Your Own Discord Server

- When you first sign up for MidJourney, you'll do so through their Discord server. It's a fantastic way to see other people's work and learn from the commands they're using so you can test it out for yourself. But as you become better, you'll want your own space to create images-if for no other reason than to be able to find your renderings much faster. This tutorial shows you how to do that. Thank you. Also, I added both the bots for Midjourney and Niji Journey for the Anime branch. If you start typing /imagine the suggested terms list will show all the commands twice, however each version has a different logo to tell them apart. I think I'll feel more comfortable now messing with Selfies. This will also be wonderful for managing uploades to reference or info from /describe.

I don't have anything to the right of the main screen, so I don't have the "MidJourney Bot" on the right side that you are then adding to the personal server? Are you able to enable stealth mode in your own server or can others still see your work?

In upper right near search field click on Show Members List icon for right sidebar to appear with MidJourney Bot.

If you added four additional Servers for 4 friends with 4 different IP addresses. Tha BOT is highly used to generate images. Would this be classed as a violation of TOS?

There legalities around AI and copyright remain to be fully defined and I'm sure it'll be like that for years. All that said, I've seen nothing from TH-cam where they'd prevent you or flag you for doing so. In fact, many podcasters I know use MidJourney specifically for episode specific artwork. Likewise, many MidJourney TH-cam tutorials use thumbnails created from MidJourney too. So you should be fine. But, I'm no expert/lawyer

do you have to have a certain subscription level. I created a server but don't see MidJourney bot to add. not having any luck getting this to work to help create an image and I activated the base subscription level

DUmb question but can other people see this or do these images on the private server still appear on the feed?
They are only on the server you create. If you have other users on that server, then yes, then can see it. But you're in control of the users unlike the default midjourney server

Do I have to have a paid subscription to do this? I have created my own server but then it comes time to go to the Newbie room and there is absolutely nothing on the right side of my screen.
yes, it has to be a paid account. the $10 a month one would suffice

Good question. As far as I understand it, it should be private. However, there have been many changes recently so I'd have to double check. Apologies for not knowing the answer directly.
@@PhilSvitekYT I've just tried the same prompt in the public vs. private. The public one has rendered, but the private one is yet to start. Feels like they may have closed this loophole or it's deprioritised on the private server.

Hi Phil, I created my server, and invited the midjourney bot to my server no issue. I can do prompts in my server, but the images generated have a message beneath it saying that only I can see it and now the 3 dots on the upright corner to use an app, download etc are gone. It seems like a privacy/permission setting that I can't figure out. My server is not private. Any help?
