20:42 This mistake has happened a lot, where you see 101 seconds and think that it's 1:01 minute(s), comparing it to the objectives timer. There's actually a setting you can change in order to make your cooldowns say their cooldowns in minutes rather than seconds. This is super useful! Just here to help
whats funny is in his coaches live coaching sessino at the end he suggested a couple settings to change and that was one of them, but lud said he reads it better in seconds

Yeah, but it was crucial to get the coaching offline. When he gets good advice / coaching on stream he has to reject and question most of it like the most cluelessly arrogant asshole for comedic effect (and maybe to some extent to defend his bruised ego in front of thousands watching 😅). Anywho, here's some things that may or may not help, or just a different viewpoint if you're not vod reviewing. Once the rengar started trolling you should have started running towards objectives like Grubs or drag, especially when he dove botside and died under turret at 8:17, here whether you have top prio or not, it's a 2v1 in your favor, the rengar is a nonfactor running it down. Grubs heavily help you in the game and the more grubs you have, the higher the winrate is statistically and you sitting botlane for 1 minute and flashing onto ezreal when your q was already in range was a waste of time efficiency, as you could've taken that dragon or grubs much sooner, gotten to 6 grubs etc, glad it worked out and your malz got a kill but you kinda wasted flash and 2nd grubs timer. ALSO 3 grubs is still heavily useful even if 2nd grubs won't spawn, don't neglect free objectives!! 28:19 If you flash this ulti here your caitlyn doesn't get hit and you don't lose so much 30:30 this baron call is booty bc although yes two inhibs are down, if they're not actively crashing into the base and you see the enemy on the map, you never wanna take a 5v5 baron fight, you lose too much momentum, just focus on closing out their vision and camps, your entire top wave is at your base too, no vision topside just risky, close out vision and keep the waves pressured on them until a better fight/pick happens The final dragon fight your cait did really well positioning and your flash was really good escaping the seraphine!! good job winning!!! I don't see big big mistakes and say you're a good enough player and have definitely learned a lot in a smaller time than most people so just keep on keeping on!!

@@splittata The entire call to baron was technically the "wrong" play, however once they're in the situations and see all 5 collapsing on them, they should back out almost immediately because their caitlyn is already half hp and the enemy's assassins can just kill everyone once the baron is slain, or rengar ulti's/jumps in and takes the 50/50 smite fight. Just a bad position to be in and a better call to back away than to fully commit, but the outcome stays the same realistically in either scenario.

Amumu in the grand scheme of things is a simple champion (no flame) and if enjoy improvement there are many, many champions in just jungle alone that you would enjoy learning. I've now watched several coaching videos on the basics and have spent some hours in the training tool with 2-3 champs and I don't feel even remotely ready to even play my first NORMAL game. 🤣 However, realizing how complex this game really is, is also what got me interested in it in the first place. I used to think that LoL sucks, but am now convinced that 90+% of the people saying "League sucks" can be directly translated to actually saying "I suck at League". So do I, but I'll try to keep the learning process fun and chill. Just don't expect to be good and win a lot from the start. 🤷♂

"What if I get flamed?", the thing is, you will have games where you play really bad. You will have games where you get flamed. But everyone does!! Even master player have terrible game and get flamed. What matters is building resilience. Playing for the love of the game, using bad games as 'playing from behind practice'. Building the habit of muting instead of typing back. Ending the game and saying "I tried my best, the enemy was just better, good for them, I'll get there eventually, unlucky"

I have been playing Wildrift, the mobile version, and they give you a little mark on the minion health that shows when you can last hit with an auto and it changes as you level up and buy items and I recently played a couple PC games again and I was like "damn, I have been spoiled, this shit is HARD"
@@MoochieMary That mobile thing seems like a useful mechanic for noobs. But yeah, the fact that last hitting changes so much throughout the game makes it really hard to learn. When I was playing around with possible full builds at max level for a bit, I got used to how that feels. Then I went back to last hitting at level one and was missing entire waves with no opponent. 😂 I'm a big sucker for attack speed and ability haste because those increase the margin for error so much (and also make sense with Darius' passive).
I was watching the streams and member only streams as a vod religiously so these vod only games are a godsend and you FOR SURE play a lot better while not streaming so keep it up please

Actually won this game by being patient and sitting in the side bush waiting for the Rengar to make the first mistake and capitalized on it. (4 min mark). Rengar tilted and the rest was history. Lud of a month ago would have walked out of that bush and thrown a wild Q or two, and Rengar easily escapes from that. Good patience and good fight all around
I think ur improving a lot and am really impressed. I feel once you hit plat you will struggle until you improve ur mechanics and play some more skill expressive characters with those mechanics. Not to imply you cannot learn these characters and improve ur mechanics because I believe you can :)
Ludwig is actually really smart imo. His acknowledgement on where he should be and what he should do is good. Even if he doesn't do the correct call, he realizes what he should have done a few seconds later. Best part of playing league is having a thought process of what to do. It doesn't even have to be a smart choice, but thinking about it is good. The way he is approaching the game is the best way to climb, knowing what did good and what wasn't good, even in stomps like this is really healthy.

Ya know what? I’ll say it, I was wrong. I’ve said multiple times I had 0 faith lud could hit plat, but I think he’s got a chance. I thought he wouldn’t be able to actually sit down and earnestly try to learn, but seeing him being willing to play offline and do offline coaching and actually focus on the stuff he struggled with, I was wrong. Honestly, I was very pessimistic while watching you and Connor during league week as there was a lot of frustration between you too. I still find the ego grating but I understand its part of the bit. I don't want this comment to be too negative. Lud have found how much you improved at the game amazing, and you for sure bring a unique thought process to the game that is very refreshing with how "solved" league is. If you keep playing I have absolute faith that you can make Plat. You got this!
As a 10+ year league vet, before this challenge started i thought his ceiling within a year would be high silver/low gold. He did have coaching so maybe move that up one.

Actually won this game by being patient and sitting in the side bush waiting for the Rengar to make the first mistake and capitalized on it. (4 min mark). Rengar tilted and the rest was history.
Lud of a month ago would have walked out of that bush and thrown a wild Q or two, and Rengar easily escapes from that. Good patience and good fight all around

I think ur improving a lot and am really impressed. I feel once you hit plat you will struggle until you improve ur mechanics and play some more skill expressive characters with those mechanics. Not to imply you cannot learn these characters and improve ur mechanics because I believe you can :)

Ludwig is actually really smart imo. His acknowledgement on where he should be and what he should do is good. Even if he doesn't do the correct call, he realizes what he should have done a few seconds later. Best part of playing league is having a thought process of what to do. It doesn't even have to be a smart choice, but thinking about it is good.
The way he is approaching the game is the best way to climb, knowing what did good and what wasn't good, even in stomps like this is really healthy.

Ya know what? I’ll say it, I was wrong.
I’ve said multiple times I had 0 faith lud could hit plat, but I think he’s got a chance. I thought he wouldn’t be able to actually sit down and earnestly try to learn, but seeing him being willing to play offline and do offline coaching and actually focus on the stuff he struggled with, I was wrong.
Is it gonna be rough? Yeah he’s still gotta net win a good amount of games in a short amount of time. But no one said it’d be easy, and if anyone could do it, it’d be our god gamer.
Honestly, all that matters is what you believe. I still think it is unlikely you can hit play in the timeframe but if it happens then hey good job.
Also, what happened to "I'm the fiddler" ? Thought you were in love with her but you just dipping out for amumu?
