You are a tourist, not Egyptian policeman. You know the driver is a scammer and you knowingly got on the van without agreeing a price. It’s your fault. Tourists in Egypt always pay more than the locals. If you don’t like to be scammed then pay a little more and use Uber instead. This is the price for being a cheap sake.
Watching you being irritated frequently by locals for their aggressive behaviors, for your own good, it probably is time to leave this country as soon as you can and go to other places where you can enjoy your trip.
I am Egyptian myself and even I am afraid for his safety , the way he acting , would invite trouble regardless if he in right or wrong , also he doesnt speak the languge so their is languge barrier when he try to explain his case so the scammers take advantage of that and raise the prices , he should hire tour guide , I dont understand why many travelers take this risk . 😟

整個埃及之行，最深刻的，也是最欣賞的，就是你一定會為應得的權益發聲。這個是絕大部分人做不到的。
確實，就算你這樣做可能不會對整個大環境有改變。但是如果沒有人願意走出來，事情只會更糟糕。起碼看了你影片的人都知道該怎麼應對，沒有下一個受害者就是最好的回應。
感激你所做的，希望不要太受一些negative comment 影響了。另外旅途中多保重身體，看到你感冒了還要在高溫下和這些騙子周旋，實在難受

我的经验是，看别人付给司机多少，我就拿同样多的钱给。坐公交要多准备零钱，就不必怕他们不找回钱。
