A terrific presentation about shutter speed and how to best select! I wonder if you would consider making a video on ISO and how aperture and shutter speed impact your decision-making? thanks so much for this, Dylan!
Excellent presentation on this subject ... ta very much. Looking forward to more of your Photo Basics series of videos! PS: I'm still waiting for my back-ordered X100V ... heaven knows when it might finally show up.
This was well explained, thanks alot! I took alot of notes. If I want the subject to be sharp and the crowd around it to be moving/kind of blurry, which shutter speed should I use, a slow one?
Hi Dylan I rediscovered photography, and your videos are a great source of inspiration and help, thanks a lot. My ‚old‘ Fuji x100t is with me everywhere these days. Love to shot portraits of strangers or friends with some background. I love Anton Corbjin‘s style, not tak sharp, there is soul and ‚e‘motion…very contrasty. I know it is Film, but if you ever happen to make a ‚special‘ about famous Photographers and how they achieved their style, Corbijn would be my fav! Cheers from Switzerland Mitch
Very curious to know if you have had a chance yet to get hold of a copy of the new Viltrox X-mount AF 13 mm 1.4 lens to review next and compare to the Samyang/Rokinon X-mount AF 12 mm 2.0. At present the new Viltrox is not available yet here (in the Netherlands).

Such a helpful video!!!!
to marry settings with expression is to have great technique... you have that
Well, that was easy !
Great explanation, as usual, Dylan. 😉
Appreciate it! Glad these are interesting enough to get through!
I found this very useful, thanks.
Glad to hear it!

I have not. I'm not sure we have them here yet, either. It seems like it's quite a large and heavy lens in comparison, but if the quality is there...
