Looked into these about 6 - 7 years ago, a LHD spec though. There used to be quite a bit more available back then. Just did another search on the webs. 0 for sale atm. Guessing most of them spend their time locked away in a garage as an investment rather than being driven these days. They weren't crazy exp. 6 - 7 years ago either. Like 20k eur for a good low milage well maintained example and some less fortunate ones for as low as 6k. Sure missed the boat on that one. Beauty of a car mate, enjoy.

People are still making fun of the spoiler trust me ^^ People still don't believe me when I tell them that the spoiler is OEM from factory. I did not liked it when I saw one for sale in France, but felt in love with it when I came to buy it. In some way, the spoiler is the signature of the Clubsport, and it is what it makes it unique.
Nic Jupp has broken plenty of these Clubsports and can verify there is no weight difference and these have exactly the same amount of sound deadening as a normal E46…infact these could be a tad heavier with that spoiler…. Should be picking one up in the next week exactly like this one 😎
I bought one of these 3 years ago in a deal with a few other bmws and it’s been under a sheet in a barn with the rest, just sold a couple of the others and got this one out to sell but now i’m not so sure it’s just too nice, estoril blue with black electric leather and some other goodies and only 89k, looks and drives amazing.
This car was sold in Spain for more than 100 units, and of course throughout Europe. It is a special edition because many gypsies damaged them or did not maintain them correctly and there are hardly any left

And I personally don't know if the 600 clubsports were only the Ci or the Ci and Cd combined, since I read there were around 600 Cd clubsports produced as well. Could be coincidence that both were made 600 times or the numbers are for both the Ci and Cd (I personally own a Cd clubsport)
Just bought a gorgeous M Clubspott 330CI but it needs lowered, what suspension is advised, for under a grand? I’ve been looking for ages and it’s a minefield?

I just asked the owner and the headlights are factory xenons upgraded to 6000k bulbs. The fogs are using a stealth 55w 6000k xenon kit from HIDs for you to match the headlights.
the e46 coupre is pretty crap in some ways untill you fix a few issues, then its a great all rounder. I couldn't stand the clutch delay valve or the dead space on the clutch pedal so had to fix both. I also swapped to an m56 valve cover replaced all the bushes and shocks. I'm not thrilled with the delay on the accelerator but you get used to fuel economy is pretty crap but probably because it is quick so I brake more.
The thing with a car like this is it's an 80% car. You get 80% of the M3 itch with 80% less expense. It's cheaper to buy, cheaper to insure, probably cheaper on fuel and is going to be much cheaper to maintain, because it's 'just' a BMW, not an M-Car. Which means things like servicing is going to be so much cheaper. But then I keep eyeing ClubSport's on places like AutoTrader so I think it may be that I want one so am using a bit of copium to justify it over an M3. Although to be honest, a budget-M3 doesn't sound like a bad thing.

The owner of this car has had very few issues with it, although he doesn't do many miles. The 6 cylinder engines in these are known for being fairly solid though, but obviously the cars are getting on a bit now so need to find one that has been looked after 👍
Velvet blue is a lovely colour, and fairly rare too! I'm sure if it has been well looked after with full history it will have plenty of life left in it yet mate 👍
Have you looked at how many of each were made? I think you'll find that I'm correct. I'm not saying it's better than a CSL (it isn't), there's just less of them...

Well, for many years CSL E46 has been respectively looked after and well known whereas the E46 330Ci Clubsport never went into the same glory as the CSL. Many people treated it as just an ordinary 330ci car. and because of that you would see a lot of Clubsports out there being driven as most they are already have high mileage. While the CSL is mostly low and is considered as a show car. It’s possibly because of the interior design or the featuring ‘Lightweight’ addition that separates both CS and CSL together in different league. Most people desire the carbon fibre than non carbon fibre e46. Other than that, both has same added features : Their own wheels, Their own door sills, Their own spoiler, New front bumper for the CSL and splitter for the CS, Lightweight style interior for the CSL and Silver Aluminium cube interior trims for the CS and 2 Colours for the CSL while the CS has 3 Colours: Titanium Silver, Two individual colours: Estoril and Velvet and 1 most Rare colour : the Carbon Black Clubsport.

I had one of these back in the early days when new. Remember being woken up in Le Mans with people joking about the spoiler :(
I know it's not to everyone's tastes but I quite like the look of the spoiler to be fair. Don't think it's too over the top 🤷

i am not sure if it is a UK only, i have seen some of them with first registration in Sweden, Norway at least..

Just bought a velvet blue one with 150k and full service history! Big miles but I’m sure I will still enjoy it when I collect it 😊

Velvet Blue is the best color for me and the Most rare of all paints. I Hope have one 330ci Clubsport BVM LHD Velvet one day
