Great video on your game instrospective! I really enjoy hearing everyone's thoughts on each and every move because I pick up new strategies every time. I have added all the expansions and I have had to adjust each time to a new type of play; Asia adds a new gambling layer. Your thoughts out loud about the other players are golden especially Cowbird vs Ravens! Thank you.

the "entity" video is great --- wouldn't want that music in the background of all the videos, but for that very themed video it's perfect

I think if house rule is removed on Ravens and gulls will be strong again. With house rule, it feels really difficult to break 120 with Ravens

The cow bird is a good counter to ravens, at least in early game but like all counters (pink powers) in wingspan it only activate once per round that in late game can be a bit underwhelming because you may add one point to you with the egg but lose in terms playing birds, with nectar is allways dangerous. The raven in the first and possibly second round isnt too bad because of the nerf of the eggs in Oceania (or if you can get birds/engine that can mitigate the lack of eggs) but in the following turns are way worse because of the nectar like i pointed earlier.
14:29 One bird that you should try later is the green heron. It has the power that can convert a type of food on another. In base game was a ok card but in my opinion now because it can convert any specific food in nectar, so it become easier to get nectar with any type of food. This combined with any bird that cam give you food is a good deal.

      @@Master_Wing you are right.
I knew that I had seen someone playing with that bird on focus, only I didn't notice it was you. I even made a slightly check on your videos but didn't saw that video in particular.

OE makes Ravens tier zero above all other birds. Not picking Raven here is completely suboptimal and there is no valid argument for it. Wingspan isn't designed to be competitive, as the variance in the game prevents skill from allowing Elo to be meaningful. If two players play optimally, variance and not skill or creative play will always determine the winner. Removing raven's in OE as suggested by the game designer, removes a critical flaw in the game design of ravens and nectar combined and should be done for fairness of the game. The tournament server "house rule" is poorly thought out and creates more negative outcomes than it corrects for, making the game less balanced and merely further isolates the small tournament server from the other 99% of players. Any content in which the house rule is in effect makes it null and void for the rest of players.
