Bruh. I think he still believed she cheated on him as his words because of his ego!

Story 1: Ex has some nerve. He ghosted OP and wasn’t even man enough to have the conversation. Reminds me of that episode of “Sex & The City “. Where Carrie’s boyfriend breaks up with her on a “Post It Note”. Then had the nerve to try to file for custody.
Story 2: NTA!!! OP doesn’t owe her cousin an apology and neither does her father. Her father’s speech was for his daughter and her groom.
Story 3: NTA!!! Even though the bake goods are a gift, still you should wash the pan if it’s not disposable. OP should ask her coworkers if a friend of theirs would bake them a pie and brought it to their home, would they return the pan unwashed?

Story 1, i dont understand Keith's end game here. I mean is he just trying to torment OP because she doesn't want to reconcile? I don't get it. He was wrong. A total AH. He needs to leave Op and her daughter alone. She's over him. And that mother, ugh. Maybe a house will fall out of the sky and land on her. Evil witch.

Story 2: The friend needs to get over herself and apologize profusely. OP is NTA and far, far more kind than I would have been if someone had screamed at me at my own wedding about something that wasn't my fault and had nothing to do with me. She was clearly coddled by her parents if a simple mention of someone else's father making a simple comment about hoping for grandchildren in the future.

Right. I mean, you shouldn't go and talk about babies to a person strugling with infertility, but to expect babies not to be mentioned in a wedding, at least when the groom and bride aren't child free, is just ridiculous.

Good coworkers usually return used plates or Tupperware clean when they bean given a food gift sounds like entitlement coming from the coworkers.😊

Yeah, where I live if someone gives food as a gift and it’s in something that’s not meant to be thrown away you clean it and the give it back and just say thank you. Even if you ultimately don’t actually like it you do it that way to be polite with the only exception being if it had been for some event like say a potluck then you will be bringing back a dirty dish.

Story 2: I understand that certain things are triggers to people, howerver, staying away from situations that might be triggering is the responsability of the person who has the trigger. If you can't handle death, don't go to funerals, and if talk about creating a family bothers you, DON'T GO TO A F'N WEDDING!

I don't see how OP in Story 1 didn't tell everyone where to get off. No one is going to be coming at me sideways.

For story 3 I think it is kinda common that dishes that just get left out for everyone and are not just for one person get returned unwashed but because this is at a restaurant I see no reason why one dish would be that much a pain for them to clean. If OP brought up the dish thing politely then they should have recognized that the nice thing to repay OP for the food would be to wash the one dish.

I think they don't partially care if it was washed with soap.
They just wanted it rinsed off at least so they weren't fighting with the stuck food later.

It doesn't even make any sense.
It's a restaurant - which means they had an automatic dishwasher.
Worst case scenario they could have at least put it through that once or twice even if it didn't get it 100% clean.

That second story, that lady is doing the most. It’s unfortunate she’s having fertility issues, but that doesn’t stop babies and conversations about babies from happening. Especially when no one knew about it. The world doesn’t revolve around her personal fertility. Also, you don’t get to yell at the bride and then be expected to stay. Her actions during someone else’s wedding was very selfish.

    story 3,
the coworkers dont deserve the treats, it is not entiteld of op to expect a clean bowl in return,
during school when me and my friends have been about 16/17 we often went to one friends home,
he had his own appartment in the house his parents owned,
he gave each of us a glass to trink from during our gaming session, and then expected we would do his dishes from the hole week,
    that was entitled of him,

    • @mnomadvfx
      @mnomadvfx หลายเดือนก่อน

That's not entitlement from the gamer friend.
That's basically expecting a free cleaner for offering a guest in your home the bare minimum of a glass to drink from.

Story 2: This you get when children are raised to be SOFT! Like yeah, the world was supposed to know that the "Friend" was having an undisclosed issue and the world is required to stop for her and only her. People, the Universe does not revolve around just one singular person. It's not my responsibility to accommodate everyone's feelings and/or needs. It's not about not having sympathy or empathy. It's about understanding that life goes on.
