Dehradun Expressway से फरीदाबाद, नोएडा, गाजियाबाद, नेशनल हाइवे नॉर्दर्नपेरिफेरल रोड लिंक करने तैयारी

A plan is being made to link the Delhi Dehradun Expressway with other major roads. Dehradun will be linked by connecting Faridabad, Noida, Ghaziabad (FNG) Expressway, National Highway (NH 9) and Northern Peripheral Road (NPR). In this regard, a meeting was held on Monday between GDA VC Rakesh Kumar Singh and National Authority of India (NHAI) project director Arvind Kumar. In the meeting, GDA VC talked about linking FNG with Dehradun Expressway to make it more efficient for the people of Ghaziabad. Now there will be a meeting on this issue with NHAI Chairman Santosh Yadav on Thursday.
Apart from the link of these roads, many other issues will also be discussed in the meeting with the NHAI chairman. Along with Urban Extension Road 2, better connectivity to Ghaziabad and other cities will also be considered. It will be discussed that an easy way should be made for the people of Ghaziabad and other cities to reach Delhi airport. Currently, a lot of time is wasted in reaching the airport via Delhi due to traffic jams at many points. To save this time, preparations are on to prepare another route, so that people can reach the airport directly in less time without entering Delhi. The NHAI team will soon prepare its feasibility report and submit it to the GDA. After this further action will start.

GDA officials said that right now the FNG is moving from Chijarsi cut to Faridabad. Efforts are being made to link it with NH-9 or DME from near Chijarsi cut. After being linked with NH-9, it should be linked with NPR near Indragarhi via Dasna. When it is linked with NPR, the traffic of FNG will reach Loni from NPR. There the traffic will reach Dehradun via the proposed route to be linked with Dehradun Expressway. NHAI officials say that connecting FNG to NH-9 will increase the traffic load. It would be better to connect it to DME. Feasibility will be checked for this.
Discussion is going on NHAI will make FNG
Discussions are going on for a long time to make FNG by NHAI. It is being told that first it will be declared as National Highway. Only after that NHAI will be able to start work on it. A decision in this regard can be taken soon. Experts say that if the NHAI project is found, it can be completed soon. At present, different agencies are working on this project in different areas. Because of this, not much progress is being made in the project. It is being told that if FNG is given to NHAI then the project can be completed by 2025. About 56 km of the project, 28 km in Faridabad, 20 km in Noida and 8 km in Ghaziabad.
