Went here yesterday and this sardine ramen soup base was amazing and love their noodles!! Super hole in the wall but if you know you know 😁. If you are ever in Kyoto again, there's this ramen shop a local couple recommended to us and it's really good one of my top ramen places called Honke Daiichi Asahi near Kyoto station give it a shot

Hi! No, we did walk in for 3500 yen. Reservation is 7000 yen for lunch. We just showed up 30 mins before they opened and waited in line. The difference between the two meals is that the reservation for 7000 yen will include a few more pieces such as otoro and grilled scallop that the walk in meal for 3500 does not include.

Hi! I stayed at Citadines in shinjuku next to golden gai! The location was very convenient. Hotel grocery-shinjuku is another hotel I love but was not available when I visited so I went with Citadines.
Ramen is best eaten quickly before it cools down. As a result, you will sip, and the scent will pass through your nose, making the noodles even more delicious. This lady's way of eating ramen is perfect. She knows good food.
Hi! We stayed at the Citadines hotel in shinjuku right next to golden gai. The location was great and it was around 45$ a night when I stayed in middle of October.
Ichiran is mad overrated, but still tasty enough. Mostly enjoy the individual booth experience. Ramen Nagi looks pretty good, might pay a visit when I'm over in April. Sushi looked top shelf too, Japan has ruined me for seafood, so dang good!

It worked really well together along with the porcini mushrooms and truffle. My favorite ramen has to be ramen nagi in shinjuku golden gai though! They’re two very different ramens so you’ll have to try both and let me know which place is your favorite 😊 thank you for watching!

I think I'll introduce you to a delicious restaurant than Ichiran. I work for a company that produces Japanese Michelin sites and books, but to be honest, Ichiran doesn't taste good.
I will say this every time I see or hear the slurping myth: Slurping noodles is not a way of communicating appreciation or anything like it. That outdated idea is based on a misunderstanding. Slurping is done to enhance the flavor and the experience, much like slurping wine when tasting it. It might also make eating hot noodles easier. Yes, when ramen chefs hear slurping, they know the food is being eaten and enjoyed, but that's not the purpose of slurping. Saying that it has a communicative function is absurd when you think about it since people do it when eating noodles at home alone. 🙂

I will say this every time I see or hear the slurping myth: Slurping noodles is not a way of communicating appreciation or anything like it. That outdated idea is based on a misunderstanding. Slurping is done to enhance the flavor and the experience, much like slurping wine when tasting it. It might also make eating hot noodles easier. Yes, when ramen chefs hear slurping, they know the food is being eaten and enjoyed, but that's not the purpose of slurping. Saying that it has a communicative function is absurd when you think about it since people do it when eating noodles at home alone. 🙂
