This year, he's done a very long run of several concerts hasn't he ? It's pretty good going to be fair.... but yeh, it was a good atmosphere in the Academy, which is kind of famous for bands. And yeh.. they could go that bit louder... Although it doesn't look like it on the video.. but you have to be "in" that surround sound to experience the "pause". Which was quite fun. But if you're into bands, and you listen.... and bop to the music, then you know that kind of feedback to the musicians. It's a gameplay. Most bands do this. :) First time I've seen so much heckling.. but these people are so excited too. Looking back, it's pretty funny... lol..... The crowd was really nice. Really polite when I couldn't see and being so short. People were so good. It's quite a nice experience. :) Actually really lucky as well in terms of tickets, cos the Academy allowed you to buy "at the door" ticket, which made my day really. So it's a good location ! lol... Many places don't sell more than the reserved tickets etc.
@@walnoremac: I've never heard of him before until this year. So... and it's been such a long time since I went to a canto-pop concert. So I tried my luck to get a ticket. So lucky to buy on the door ! He probably has an ear piece issue as well if you judge his behaviour.. I dunno if he has had his ears checked out, but he could've damaged his ear drums from earlier on. And even so... with such singing, you need a special mic which amplifies the sound as well. It's a lot of effect and small things like that for a concert. It's not cheap equipments, which I know. I kind of knew it was an anime song... didn't realise it was one of his old song, after googling... lol. It's a good boppy song. This video also doesn't reflect the real life experience at the time either... Cos I can only hear a one directional sound even now on my PC. So yeh... it's deceiving. But he was live... He did a lot of pauses. Cos he knew the effects. Besides, it's a concert and not a CD, so this video doesn't reflect his singing though. Cos he's now performing ? It was a really good crowd as well... cos I enjoyed their atmosphere as well. This is why.. in those old karaoke music videos, you see a lot of editing, and actual specialist video and music overlays etc.. Cos this is real time. This is different. Those videos look and feel a lot more different cos it is movie editing basically.
You can't get the whole sound from the mobile phone, cos it depends on the recording function and the machine... but when you are inside the room that bounces back... It is different, cos the sound bounces off the walls. This is why this actual location, called "The Academy" is one of the oldest band music venue. It is pretty cool... a lot of famous bands have played here as well. Of course, it doesn't have the perfect Dolby or sounds like that from an actual CD or a good "adjusted" CD or earpods, but this is extremely live raw music. If you're into bands or guitars or whatever... play here. I think the walls have sound-padding as well.... If you stand in the middle of the floor, then that is the best location. I didn't know that the lights were so bright, cos they had the filming.. of the audience as well.. Maybe this is what was putting him off... and that is why he paused. lol... I didn't even know that, this is how people did a show.. Maybe he was laughing thinking, whether to pause the filming or not... It's very funny... I thought to myself.."shouldn't the light be darker so we can bop in the dark" ? It was SO bright ! lol. It freaked me out. lol. Maybe this is why he croached down to see who was there... which is quite funny. I didn't see all of this at the time... Thanks for this front row film ! Gawd..... lol...
