And you, gamer: you will take this hero, you will become stronger than another other HoTs player, and you will destroy the enemy team. Now go: claim the next ranked level!
Spas Delev Leeroy is such a massive icon tho that he basicly almost has become a character in Wow xD... MAYBE he could be a mount, like he is running ahead and carrying you on like a charriot after (basicly one of thise chinese things) could be hilarious.
Kel'Thuzad would be great, they just need to make a Starcraft map with The Overmind as the announcer. i know people want him as a hero but aba kind of does what I'd think the Overmind would do.
They won't do that because China has laws against displaying dead corpses in video games. That's also why nazeebo's grimskull skin is not the master skin but came in separately. That way it doesn't interfere with chinese Hots.
Wow... Simply wow. The artwork and animations are some of the best in the game, I don't even care if he's good. I'm gonna play him just for how good it all looks.
I don't know, on maps like infernal shrines or cursed hollow it makes it very hard to go for the objective for a longer time than horrify, allowing your team to get it or just cause a good amount of damage to a fort and everything around it when pushing with team. I can see it being used about 2/5 times.
***** Oh man, you know they will eventually. I'm curious where he'll fall in the dps tank spectrum. I mean... he's a big beefy orc, but he did use Blademaster abilities back in wc3.
The main thing I want too and need too point out is the "talents" for Gul'dan. You guys added healthstone and demonic portal and such and thats fricking awesome! Such iconic skills in his kit. Sometimes talents are MORE important than just what they have skill wise (maybe not ults of course) but still fricking amazing! Like arthas and his anti magic shell, ice bound fortitude and Xul with bone spear. Probably the REASON I love hots so much is all these little things you guys add. keep up the good work!
RNG? Is that really a good idea? I have a feeling that rain is going to be yet another ultimate that never sees play because it's so hypersituational while the alternative is clearly more reliable ._.
I'm sure the randomness of the ult will be compensated with the (as they say) incredibly high damage and HUGE area of effect. I mean the area is massive, it literally covered the entire shrine area in Infernal Shrines. That's a massive area to be dealing heavy damage. So his ults are "need large aoe cc?" and "need a massive zoning/damage ult?"
in a real match, specially in an objective heavy map like towers of doom i can tell you that ult will be awesome. When it does hit it does good dmg. When you have 5v5 in a spot, drop the ult and it will hit people multiple times as the continue to fight or begin to scurry away.
It doesn't matter if it's rng, it's a massive zone control spell. You could deal 0 damage with it, but the threat of being hit is enough to zone people away from objectives whilst you do them. Tried it on the ptr, his Fear is definitely the go to but his Rain of Fire isn't particularly bad, just niche. I could see it being a good pick on maps like Infernal Shrines.
An area where you can get damaged without being able to predict that is an area where you wish to do not fight. Yeah it's random, it can miss a lot, but walking in there is a risk that most of the times one can't afford during a teamfight.
If you didn't live under a rock ( or in this case, away from Twitter, Facebook and even the battle net launcher) you'd notice that the next hero is Auriel, who is kinda the angel of hope, and what was hope tied to in fantasy games?
there are 2 types of good assassins the one that use flames and the one that is named li ming. for real that is the 2 heros i see with almost 100% ban pick so i would love to se more to mix it up
+bub1eboy Meh li ming is ok once you get past a certain mmr. what we need is more illidan counters :p guldan does seem pretty fun though in all seriousness
You know, i love this little spotlight videos, they are really well made. They provide just the right amount of info about the hero without taking too much time. I really like how they make these in comparison to what MOBA spotlights usually are, they keep it clean and simple. If only the guy who does the voiceover could stop talking like Sonic the hedgehog...
As a level 60 orc warlock player in vanilla I've been waiting for this hero for a long time. I expect this hero to at least maintain a B+ in competitive game play tier list or better. I look forward to using him a lot.
Kudos on making the DoT not just a boring targeted ability. :) I'm worried about Gul'dan's range and lack of escapes (outside fear ulti), though. Greymane will destroy him.
Cue the rage that comes out of horrify since it brings back flashbacks to ridiculous CC in WoW. Also, that reign of chaos at the end was a nostalgia hit. I really should replay Warcraft 3; it's been far too many years.
and after that we get sarumo, a stealthing blade master. sounds like an assassin. Then we get Varian, for whom I'm super hyped. He is a WoW type warrior but I'm curious if he will be a warrior or assassin.
so Medivh Q, Leoric W(channeled, such difference), and Gall bombs. Combined with Tyrande's ult or an OP crowd control. The trait is original, that I must give.
You're not wrong at all. Most of abilities are probably replace with a new visual effect in moba games and adjust the abilities stats/speed/distance.. etc, then it's a new ability. It's a lazy way to design a new hero but players usually won't bothered about it.
I agree since it puts him in one place and stops him from moving and with random chance of hitting enemy even in a wider range it will result with most players taking Horrify instead of Rain of Destruction
It reminds me of original gangplank ult, massive aoe circle where canonballs could fall and damage & slow enemies, Riot games change it soon after cuz it was useless, people half of the time walked and taked 0 damage, now its a smaller aoe circle that drops canonballs all over it at a set rate
oh my god, he's everything i hoped he would be. the artists did a great job with his garb, too, blends the old concepts with the new. he might bring me back to hots ;-;
"at last" yeah i remember the Time that Chromie was broken on Release or Lunara or that Time that everyone complained about Medivhs insane Winrate. There aren´t a lot of Assasins that could even be considered OP actually just Kael Thas as always and that is just because he is a bit overtuned and his Kit is just really solid
+ChariFlari IKR, don't even get my started on Artanis, when he was released he stuck to people better than Illidan, could not be kited and had insane wave clear early game
You probably need to learn how to play around assassins. Probably the reason Gul'Dan seems "an assassin who isn't OP" is that Gul'Dan isn't an assassin in the traditional sense. He cannot burst down anyone, He deals sustained damage. In fact his playstyle is probably the furthest from the Assassin role(bar maybe Lunara and Chromie).
Chromie is still strong if put in the right hands, she deals massive damage and can literally just scare assassins away from a fight, i hear people complain about her range but, if she didn't have her range nor her super high dps, she wouldn't have anything because she's useless at pushing having 1 ability with 10 sec CD.
At least when they make assassins they make assassins. They live up to their role. When they make tanks or supports they are "kinda" supports or tanks are just target dummies. Assassins are fun to play and the others just fill the hero roster.
In heroes abilities are usually pretty basic because unlike other mobas you can upgrade them to make them more complex. Even if at base Gu'dan's Q seems pretty basic you'll be able to talent for it making it more unique as the game progresses.
+Chris Williams Medivh's Q does not travel in a cone, does not do the same damage, and does not have the same cooldown. Leoric's Drain Hope is a skill-shot, Gul'Dans is not. Leoric can not hit minions with it, Gul'Dan can. Leoric has a limited channel time with it, Gul'Dan does not appear to. Again, the damage/heals rates are different. Gall's W is a slow-bouncing projectile whose distance in between each impact and overall range is controlable, Gul'Dan's does none of this. Gul'Dan's does DOT, Gall's does not. Again, damage/cooldown rates are also very different. Simple-minded much?
I love the entire concept. I just hoped for Carbot's original idea of giving Gul'dan a chalice as a heroic ability. The chalice is an aoe effect that first greatly buffs the targets and after a few seconds greatly debuffs them for a fairly longer amount of time.
He never was a warlock who called demons, he thought of himself as above them. He was the most powerful mortal warlock ever in WC lore, far beyond Illidan and Arthas, until their powerful transformations, especially Arthas's whose powers then as the Lich King dwarfed Gul'Dan's. Maybe he did use demons in Warcraft 2, but absolutely nothing about that is stated anywhere on any lore site. If you really want infernals... well you will get them by either a Nathrezim Dreadlord hero or with Archimonde.
I don't know what Carbot is talking about, I really like this model of Gul'dan! He finally looks like someone I would want to play, (unlike the skeletor hearthstone).
It seems his fear ultimate will be chosen most often. He also looks like he has crazy lane sustain if there are winions with him. Auriel is what im waiting for though.
The irony of Gul'dan using Life Drain on Kael'thas (since it was originally blood mages that had the spell in Warcraft 3) is not lost on this longtime Warcraft player.
Seems... weak? Maybe the dmg is more impressive once we see it in an actual game. Too bad there is no actual summon infernal-heroic. And this channeled aoe better do some extreme damage to be a match for something like Phoenix.
If your Argument should be that he is too expensive to buy then you clearly have no Idea of this Game or any Game and you haven´t thought of this Argument more then a Second because you could say the same Thing for League of Legends and it is the most played Game in the World and probably even more expensive.
And what, Gul'dan, must we give in return for this power.
*pulls back his hood*
$9.99
And you, gamer: you will take this hero, you will become stronger than another other HoTs player, and you will destroy the enemy team.
Now go: claim the next ranked level!
Reported
14.99 for the skin pack an three easy payments of 28.99 for a month worth of infernals
the sir andy of squadron fame i see!
What do you have to give? MMR!
*Gul'dan casts Horrify on Diablo, Diablo runs away screaming*
So much for Lord of Terror, huh ^^
Just as bad as Illidan being blinded ^_^
+H Liu these comments made my day
"Lord of Terror? I SHOW YOU TRUE TERROR!"
I dont want to know what Guld'dan cast into the mind of Diablo so that he run.
Bunnies and rainbows.
well his senes can be blinded. I dont think the spells says that if blinds the eyes :D
Now make Leeroy Jenkins a character!
maybe he will be a skin for varian
*edit:* nvm leeroy was a paladin
Skin for Uther
Even a Leeroy skin for butcher would be awesome
YES!!! Imagine him charging at the target screaming "Leeroy Jenkins!!" Instead of "Fresh meat"
Spas Delev Leeroy is such a massive icon tho that he basicly almost has become a character in Wow xD...
MAYBE he could be a mount, like he is running ahead and carrying you on like a charriot after (basicly one of thise chinese things)
could be hilarious.
You can tell when someone is exceptionally evil when he casts Horrify on the Lord of Terror and even he runs in fear. 2:03 Such a crude irony.
His terror is bunnies and rainbows.
But he can ride that pony mount. What fears him? Goldshire?
+Bálint Kristóf lol references
It’s so fun to see how characters change from when introduced and now
We want Kel'Thuzad pls.
WE WANT K.T NOW!
Of course you do 😉
Even if it's literally just a ranged xul skin, we need it.
We want Lord Jaraxxus already
Kel'Thuzad would be great, they just need to make a Starcraft map with The Overmind as the announcer. i know people want him as a hero but aba kind of does what I'd think the Overmind would do.
where are his skulls ;(
In illidan's loot table.
***** He was not prepared ;)
He's based on Warcraft 2 and he didn't have skulls yet. He first appeared with skulls in warcraft 3
+Acid Snake also they cant use skulls because china
+Jean Stephen ??
Can we have a Warcraft movie skin for mediev and Gul'dan pls
have to agree on this one
I also want a WoW skin and the clunky red Frozen Throne skin.
Blizzard read this his master skin should of been the movie or WoD skin
They won't do that because China has laws against displaying dead corpses in video games.
That's also why nazeebo's grimskull skin is not the master skin but came in separately. That way it doesn't interfere with chinese Hots.
Would be awesome with the diablo skin from D3 too imo :p
When SMOrc meets WutFace. Beautiful.
Haha I wouldn't tell that to Gul'dan.
I am glad Gul'dan is in the game. He is cool. But how about Kel'thu freakin-zad? Anyone?
Or the Mighty Millhouse Manastorm!!!!!!!!! (nope he is suck)
Millhouse Manastorm. Heroic Ability: Doom! (15 second cast time, instantly Surrenders for your team without a vote)
LEERRRROY JENKINSSSSS
Johnny Awesome needs to be added first.
haha yea
They land randomly? Oh boy that Ult may suffer from "pre-rework Gamgplank" syndrome.
doesn't make hyperion a bad pick..
but hyperion don't make you locked on the place casting for the entire ult lol
Gul'dan needs some pants
And what wtii, must he give for these pants?
$9.99
E V E R Y T H I N G
WTII I WATCH YOUR WACRAFT 3 VIDEOS ON DAILY BASIS :O
eeeeeevvvverrrryyything
Wow... Simply wow. The artwork and animations are some of the best in the game, I don't even care if he's good. I'm gonna play him just for how good it all looks.
Prediction: The vast majority will pick Horrify instead of Rain of Destruction.
i agree with your prediction
If Rain didn't take him completely out of the fight it would be useful, but as Horrify is a mass CC it is too strong to not take.
I don't know, on maps like infernal shrines or cursed hollow it makes it very hard to go for the objective for a longer time than horrify, allowing your team to get it or just cause a good amount of damage to a fort and everything around it when pushing with team. I can see it being used about 2/5 times.
Rain seems good for pushing... so I guess if you wanted to be special guldan lol
Yeah the moment I knew it's a channeling, definitely a no no.
Gul'dan coming to nexus? I'm "gul'done".
I'll see myself out.
+David Vanderhoeven *Opens door* The Blizzard Writers are in California, you better get going if you wanna join them.
Making kickstarter campaign to get me there as we speak.
What must we give in return Blizz?
EVERYTHING!!!
Gul'dan has always been my favorite Warcraft character.
Same. I love him and hate him so much.
Wasn't Guldan the apprentice of Ner'Zhul?
+Georelic35 Yes.
Hellscream mine. Hope tey will bring him.
***** Oh man, you know they will eventually. I'm curious where he'll fall in the dps tank spectrum. I mean... he's a big beefy orc, but he did use Blademaster abilities back in wc3.

RNG? Is that really a good idea? I have a feeling that rain is going to be yet another ultimate that never sees play because it's so hypersituational while the alternative is clearly more reliable ._.
yeah but quick match is the wild west. Also that ult is probably way fun to use.
I'm sure the randomness of the ult will be compensated with the (as they say) incredibly high damage and HUGE area of effect. Tried it on the ptr, his Fear is definitely the go to but his Rain of Fire isn't particularly bad, just niche. I could see it being a good pick on maps like Infernal Shrines.
Isn't Raynor ultimate with the Hyperion the same thing?
Rain of destruction looks so random, plus it prevents you from using your other damaging abilities. I don't see its use
it's fanservice to rain of fire from WoW. that's why it does virtually nothing.
use that in a group fight with people fighting and we will see if its bad lol
Yeah, it looked like garbage. 'Look at the massive destruction.' *enemy team gets hit about 3 times in 6 secs*
An area where you can get damaged without being able to predict that is an area where you wish to do not fight.
Yeah it's random, it can miss a lot, but walking in there is a risk that most of the times one can't afford during a teamfight.
HighLanderPony Arthas got 0 damage from that tho... and it makes you a sitting duck! Guess we'll have to wait and see
the world can always use more healers! (please blizzard, stop making burst assassins we need support!)
Guldan isn't really a burst assassin...he's like a more skill intensive Raynor
don't worry, auriel will be a +1 to the support roll
If you didn't live under a rock ( or in this case, away from Twitter, Facebook and even the battle net launcher) you'd notice that the next hero is Auriel, who is kinda the angel of hope, and what was hope tied to in fantasy games?
Auriel is coming.
hopefully, you'll get auriel in 4 weeks
Seeing Diablo run away in fear actually made me chuckled. XD
his greatest fears are probably the teddy bears from Whimseyshire.
More SMOrcs for the SMOrc team!
Reghar
Thrall
Rexxar
Now Gul'dan
Bring Grom in and the team is complete!
Rexxar is not an Orc.
But Grom should be already in the game.
Well he was teased anyway.
Rexxar is a half-orc
Rexxar is half-orc so he still counts!
Rexxar is half Orc.
Grudar
Half-orc half ogre. More or less he has his own race the Mok'Nathal.
2:23 , 3:08 , 3:13 Oh the possible ragdoll launches. Can't wait for this. :D
Waiting for the next Ragdoll Physics then :P
Immediately thought of that. :D
2:23 --> Insert Mario jump insert or Spring sound effect
"weeeeeeeeeeeee"
anyone else wish to see Maiev the Warden and The Blademaster from War3?
Jubei'Tosh! The Warlock from the blackrock clan has spoken. Soon our demon masters will return.
Atleast i think that's what he says...
Samuro is on the way.
BLADEMASTER YAS!!!!
How didn't I think about that?:D
Legion is coming, you can belive in maiev.
But the blademaster isn't that trascendent as maiev is...
Wow, this dude looks awesome. Can't wait to see what the talents have in store!
THAT'S what's different! Something about Gul'dan bugged me ever since I saw his trailer. He's missing his staff!
Even so, it's hard not to see him limping on the thing in any incarnation, even in the film he had it most of the time despite not needing it.
He looks BADASS! Well done yet again guys.
I liked Gul'dan.....till they said he was an Assassin. For the love of the Old Gods, we have enough assassins right now.
Jonathan, Slayer of Stupid, Incompetent and Disappointing Minions Or a Specialist, it seems you're too stupid to think of anything else.
there are 2 types of good assassins the one that use flames and the one that is named li ming. for real that is the 2 heros i see with almost 100% ban pick so i would love to se more to mix it up
+bub1eboy Meh li ming is ok once you get past a certain mmr. what we need is more illidan counters :p
guldan does seem pretty fun though in all seriousness
Tusshar Shanker i am plat 1 there is not much more mmr for me to go
5 diamonds :p you're about the rank where good illidans begin to annoy you enough that you just end up banning him
Awesome
Now add Malthael
We need our heroic angel to cleanse the nexus of the demonic scourge!
And Imperius
I would love to see the angel of death! (as he is in Diablo 3, all spooky) float around draining souls! ^^
I hope Archimonde is implemented at some point, i would love to see rain of chaos, dark portal or finger of death.
come on please for the love of got, add a troll hero :/
Guldan is a troll hero. To himself xD
Mr. Bumble u are the troll hero, the internet kind :/
wha?
*cough* Troll and Dranei- *cough*
Yrel would be sweet
Oh yeah! "I am the danger, I am the one, who knocks!" .... I wish, he'd say that as well :)
P.S. Fenix, brother where art thou?
The problem with Fenix might be that he has had so many forms over the years. Zealot, Dragoon or Purifier?
well, that purifier is not fenix.
All three of them.
Well, since we got Artanis, Dragoon Fenix would be a perfect choice (and zealot-fenix skin for Artanis)
Or Fenix switches between Zealot (melee) and Dragoon (ranged) during the game.
So we have Azgul'dan, but we don't have Azgul'dan for Gul'dan? missed opportunity
Thank you blizzard so much I waited so long for this to happen
Medivh: Hero we cannot allow Gul'dan to return to this realm!
Me: No problem i got first ban!
4:13 he said it, HE SAID IT!
"i am your nightmare" very original blizzard
As a level 60 orc warlock player in vanilla I've been waiting for this hero for a long time. I expect this hero to at least maintain a B+ in competitive game play tier list or better. I look forward to using him a lot.
Looks fun. How about the Hearthstone Innkeeper?
Kudos on making the DoT not just a boring targeted ability. :) I'm worried about Gul'dan's range and lack of escapes (outside fear ulti), though. Greymane will destroy him.
nice but still waiting for a new support =(
i hope. but in the review video she looked more like an assa.
they said on twitter that she will be a support
They confirmed her to be a supp
Already confirmed as a support
Nah, Mercy would be more fun.
I really really like how they did his face looks so much like the icon he had in tides of darkness
He's so fun to play
Cue the rage that comes out of horrify since it brings back flashbacks to ridiculous CC in WoW.
Also, that reign of chaos at the end was a nostalgia hit. I really should replay Warcraft 3; it's been far too many years.
Im kinda dissapointed becuz his model is not good as Warcraft movie
well, nothing will ever look as good as the warcraft movie lol
azmodan allrdy has a skin thats based on WOD gul dan
Could you not have made a model after his movie appearance? Even the WoD model looked more menacing and badass.
Dat Abathur slap. Thug life.
I can literally smell the absolute aim at Gul'dan
There's waaaaay too many assassin in HotS. We need more supports. Bring Mercy. :D
Auriel will be next. She will be support.
and after that we get sarumo, a stealthing blade master. sounds like an assassin. Then we get Varian, for whom I'm super hyped. He is a WoW type warrior but I'm curious if he will be a warrior or assassin.
+Bálint Kristóf I thought she was another assassin from seeing her sneak peak. she doesn't seem to havr any heals.
Draugen
Because they have only shown 2 abbilities.
Bálint Kristóf I hope you're right. Assassins get boring real quick.
so Medivh Q, Leoric W(channeled, such difference), and Gall bombs. Combined with Tyrande's ult or an OP crowd control.
The trait is original, that I must give.
maybe a firebat hero? aoe tank/bruiser? just throwing it out there
Ya I want Maltheal, Adria the Witch, and FirebatJoe.
Pffh Adria.. worst Diablo character ever.. we certainly don´t need more butterflies in the nexus
+Chris Faiver and he definitely needs the "My goose is getting cooked!"
Hello brothers. I come from the future to tell you blaze says hi.
am i wrong? or the first skill is the same first skill of medivh...
You're not wrong at all. Most of abilities are probably replace with a new visual effect in moba games and adjust the abilities stats/speed/distance.. etc, then it's a new ability. It's a lazy way to design a new hero but players usually won't bothered about it.
skill itself seems similar except for its default cooldown but Im pretty sure the talents will change it drastically.
That's like saying Valla's multishot is the same as Stitches' slam. The answer is probably "kinda, but not really"
That's like saying Valla's multishot is the same as Stitches' slam. The answer is probably "kinda, but not really"
There's only so many ways different characters can do damage in different ways, similarities are gonna happen, wouldn't worry about it.
I feel "fear" ult will be the main pick. Arthas didn't even get hit with the meteors
Yet Rain of Destruction has huge range. You throw it on an objective and the enemy team will never cap it as long as Gul'dan is alive.
yea the rain of fire is just too wide spread. it looks great but I agree
I agree since it puts him in one place and stops him from moving and with random chance of hitting enemy even in a wider range it will result with most players taking Horrify instead of Rain of Destruction
No one used it in wow and no one's going to use it in hots lol
It reminds me of original gangplank ult, massive aoe circle where canonballs could fall and damage & slow enemies, Riot games change it soon after cuz it was useless, people half of the time walked and taked 0 damage, now its a smaller aoe circle that drops canonballs all over it at a set rate

he might bring me back to hots ;-;
As described he seems to have strengths but also weaknesses. Thanks Blizzard, at last you made an assassin who isn't OP, godlike, cheat hero.
"at last" yeah i remember the Time that Chromie was broken on Release or Lunara or that Time that everyone complained about Medivhs insane Winrate. I really like how you approach hero design in HotS, Blizzard Entertainment. Good job indeed.
All WoW warlocks just came a little
More like alot
Now if only he could summon felguard. :3
maybe the next warlock like that trifling gnome that summoned Jaraxxus. can't remember his name tho xD
Wilferd Fizzlebang, master summoner.
Aka. the trifling gnome!
One of my most hated Warcraft characters and one of my most played characters in Hots :D
Malthael...
Seriously, when does Death come for nexus?
Im here cuz grubby said he's like shadow fiend
Dat Abathur slap tho.
In heroes abilities are usually pretty basic because unlike other mobas you can upgrade them to make them more complex. Even if at base Gu'dan's Q seems pretty basic you'll be able to talent for it making it more unique as the game progresses.
Gul'Dan is best !!!
It's about time. Favorite Warcraft character of all time.
More skins for guldan plz?
Yaaaay ANOTHER Ranged Assassin. Just what the game needed.
i would love a new support hero guys (not that Gul'dan would have been one) but we have enough ranged assassins.
Next hero is a supp
Auriel right ?... Malthael ugh... how much longer will he be delayed...
+kiloneie hopefully not long... I've been hoping and praying for years...
Medivh. He's classified as a specialist but almost purely support, even more so than Tyrande and Tassadar.
Cephceph
That is where your wrong. He doesn't have the shileding of tass or the healing of Tyrande.
"I'm taking your skull, Deal with it!" - Illidan
So his abilties: Q - the same as Medivh, W - the same as Leoric, E - similar to Cho'gall.
Running out of ideas much?
+Chris Williams Medivh's Q does not travel in a cone, does not do the same damage, and does not have the same cooldown. Leoric's Drain Hope is a skill-shot, Gul'Dans is not. Again, damage/cooldown rates are also very different.
Simple-minded much?
God forbid they have any similarities! I demand 100% uniqueness for all heroes and abilities! Let non be alike! !!
Blizz fanboi detected.
the abilites deal damage... how unoriginal
+Thad Meister So only a "fanboi" can raise those points? That's some sick logic right there, son. I'll drink to that.
Finally a video for Gul'dan and Abathur almost steals the show.
dan doesnt look like a ghoul to me
:)
i laughed way harder than i should
lmao
rain of destruction.... the ult that can 1 shot anyone........ or where every rock can just fall harmlessly not touching even a minion.
change his second heroic to 'summon infernal'
Gul'dan was never a warlock who summons demons
In his opinion he is above it
it has been a long time since I was that excited about a new hero
STILL NOT A SINGLE TROLL
I'm been waiting so long for guldan!
So..... is this our gul'dan? Or alternate reality Gul'dan?
Our Gu'dan. If you look at his belt, it has the symbol of the Stormreaver clan on it, something only the main timeline Gul'dan created.
ahh ok thanks.
as soon as Gul'dan is available i will have my 3 Orcs ravage to nexus.
Can we have a hero wich is not from warcraft sometime?
Auriel from Diablo is coming after Gul'dan.
if only mathael was comming
next are auriel and zarya by the way
who is zarya?
Ogon' Po Gotovnosti
It sucks that the hero trailers are gone even though I knew they wouldn't last forever.
Horrify Boss Steals incoming.
I love the entire concept. I just hoped for Carbot's original idea of giving Gul'dan a chalice as a heroic ability. The chalice is an aoe effect that first greatly buffs the targets and after a few seconds greatly debuffs them for a fairly longer amount of time.
I wanted to throw infernals at people. Im disappointed.
Wait for his second heroic trait.
His trait at lvl 20 just adds slow :|
He never was a warlock who called demons, he thought of himself as above them. He was the most powerful mortal warlock ever in WC lore, far beyond Illidan and Arthas, until their powerful transformations, especially Arthas's whose powers then as the Lich King dwarfed Gul'Dan's.
Maybe he did use demons in Warcraft 2, but absolutely nothing about that is stated anywhere on any lore site.
If you really want infernals... well you will get them by either a Nathrezim Dreadlord hero or with Archimonde.
YOU FACE JARAXXUS! EREDAR LORD OF THE BURNING LEGION!
Neither Arthas or Illidan are warlocks. Illidan is part Demon, Arthas a Death Knight ascended.
Gul'dan has traveled to the Nexus to find his destiny.
Am i the only one who's curious about Gul'dan's interactions with Illidan?
"I am taking your skull. Deal with it."
-Illidan, killing Gul'Dan.
Illidan on Gul'dan's team-
"Your skull looks even worse with skin on it..."
Gul'dan killing Illidan-
"I'm not reviving you this time..."
I don't know what Carbot is talking about, I really like this model of Gul'dan! He finally looks like someone I would want to play, (unlike the skeletor hearthstone).
Deathwing needs to come burn the Nexus lol
looks incredible
Where is the infernal? I'm disappointed
Might be the level 20 talent for Rain of Destruction.
better be
***** nope its not
Ayoub P Well... *Cries*
I think they saving it for dreadlord
I CAN'T WAIT! HE'S SOO AWESOME!
Warlock with no Infernal? :(
maybe with talents
Level 20 talent: INFERNAL!!! (I hope)
Hopefully if they make Jaraxxus that'll be his ability.
maybe they are saving it for a dreadlord
Level 20 talent: Ult now rains infernal instead of fiery fel rocks.
It seems his fear ultimate will be chosen most often. He also looks like he has crazy lane sustain if there are winions with him. Auriel is what im waiting for though.
so dissapointed they didnt name it Rain of chaos like warcraft 3 Reign of chaos
The irony of Gul'dan using Life Drain on Kael'thas (since it was originally blood mages that had the spell in Warcraft 3) is not lost on this longtime Warcraft player.
They got Mana drain, not life drain
It does indeed seem like the irony was lost on you since it was the dark ranger (sylvanas) that had the life drain ability
it is sylvanas life drain
Seems... weak? Maybe the dmg is more impressive once we see it in an actual game. Too bad there is no actual summon infernal-heroic. And this channeled aoe better do some extreme damage to be a match for something like Phoenix.
Gul'dan was always a kind of warlock who doesn't summon demons to fight, but fights himself
This is exactly what I wanted him to be. YES BLIZZARD
and of course its will be too expensive. that is why people dont play this game
I have never used money on heroes. I buy them for coins like most other players.
fun fact: a lot of people play this game
And that's why you are adopted
9.99 same as any hero that comes out in any other moba.
If your Argument should be that he is too expensive to buy then you clearly have no Idea of this Game or any Game and you haven´t thought of this Argument more then a Second because you could say the same Thing for League of Legends and it is the most played Game in the World and probably even more expensive.
I'm warlock since Vanilla sooooo BIG thanks for this! 😊
