Great notes and good advice. The best recent example I can think of are the $500 and $1,000 bills. Prices for these notes were stagnant for decades. However, demand for these notes has soared in the last two years. It remains to be seen if that demand will last. Thanks!

One of the $100 bill looks to have it's series 1929 marking offset a bit high on the bill.

The FRBN's were an interesting part of transition within our economic policies of the time. These were made by the federal gov during the transition to a single Fed Reserve banking system as our primary means of money. At the time silver certs, legal tender notes, and federal reserve notes were all present. Totally still a bargain, even the star components. Thanks for sharing these Ben!

The $100 FR Nationals were made in only 7 of the 12 districts,NY,Cleveland, Richmond,Chicago,Minneapolis,KC,and Dallas, which had a mere 36K printed. All 7 districts had 12K stars printed.A $100 Dallas star, even in VF goes for quite a bit of money.Excellent vid, really nice notes👍

BTW, did you know the BEP made 1934 $100 Gold Certs with the orange backs. They were for use in banks only, never released in circulation.I believe somewhere in DC,they have uncut sheets of these, not sure if the public has ever seen them

This is a great video. Thank you! A couple of things: these bill are printed, not minted. Also, pinholes in bills are undesirable generally, and especially in newer, small size notes, but for much rarer, earlier large size notes, the matter of pinholes becomes less relevant, especially if there are only 32, or 9, or some other tiny number, known to exist.

Ben, my ears perked up when you said, you have been waiting for the V Nickels to hit the main stream big time, or to that effect. I have been up grading my set for about 4 years. Enjoy your videos, take care.

Been looking at getting a $100 Legal Tender note to complete my small sized red note type set, but I have also wanted to get something from the FRBN set as I have none. After this video, I think I might be better going for these first.

I wonder if those are legal tender btw swiss francs have an expiration date. Once they come out with the next series of currency you only have a few years to get all your notes changed over and after that date the currency becomes void.

Can't overstate how nice it is to have a good LCS. I visited mine earlier this week to put in a banknote request and pick up some supplies.

Hi, Ben. I like Brown Seals. You might want to have that feeling in your gut checked. HMMM, V Nickels. *TYU*
