Have always wondered about these poor girls and their families. Their high school photos somehow don't make them feel real. Makes you realise they were someone's sister, daughter, friend...RIP

He got her in his car by hitting her over the head with a crowbar. She wouldn't have went with him voluntarily. Bundy was at it again on November 8th, a week later, so all the stories of her being held and tortured are unfounded; she likely died that night.

It's confusing. I live here in Lehi and I've heard multiple scenarios. 1. She left a Halloween party in Orem and was picked up on a dark stretch of Highway 89 (Orem is roughly 12 miles south of Lehi).2. She left a Halloween party in Lehi to hitchhike to buy cigarettes (she wouldn't have to hitchhike to the Knotty Pine from Beveridge's house as it is a short walk). 3. She was seen getting into Ted's car at the Knotty Pine. 4. She was last seen at William S. Robinson Park in American Fork. 5. She was seen hitchhiking north from a bowling alley in American Fork. Does anyone know the real story? A lot of confusing contradictions here. It also seems strange that Ted would know Laura as Ted liked to remain a deliberate stranger to his victims.

Oh my God! She just seems like another real character and a barrel full of fun. Im hoping shes okay, as she mentioned in this video that she had myeloma. At any rate, that is one heckuva stroke to end up with a last name like Beveridge! I know my favorite beverage to drink is ice tea, but my favorite beverage to listen to is this one because she just radiates that spunky, gritty character that again really reminds me of one of my beloved aunts and absolutely enhances her incredible storytelling. Another amazing find on your part. Its also sad that of Marin and Laura's friends, so many of them seem to have died prematurely. And that she and one other person were the only survivors and they themselves are just in their mid sixties.
Have to say this observation: she's pointing out that Laura really loathed Ted's advances and was sticking up for herself and calling him out for being an incredible creepo. This leaves me believing that if not for her being in a vulnerable position, a yellowbelly like Ted may well have thought twice. Laura could well have bested him and I'd imagine potentially really have done some damage to Bundy physically, because she was basically the same size as Bundy himself! I know the saying "it isn't the size of the dog in the fight," and that is true. Yet, I also cannot help but note that other than Laura, I don't think any of his victims where anywhere near those proportions. Perhaps there's only so many that would be, but I don't recall anyone else being past 5'7" and 125 pounds, and most were much smaller. Even petite size. 5'-5'3". 100 pounds. Debi Kent was that size. So were a lot of the Washington victims. Ott. Hawkins. Etc.
And a week later, Carol DaRonch (who looks to be of average size) fought back really hard (also drawing blood, because that was part of what led to the kidnapping conviction!) and got away from him, which proved to be the start of his undoing.
Another true mark of an absolute 🐔🐔🐔🐔 squat and a pure coward who waits to pounce and takes a victim when at their most vulnerable. The more I learn from your content, he just sets new bars for sociopathy and evil. And I agree with John Henry Browne, who represented him. He was born that way. Three years old and he surrounds his 18 year old aunt with knives while she is sleeping. That, to me, is nature rather than nurture and I think his mom masquerading as his sister etc had a very limited role.
Again, I said Myeloma because Marin mentioned she had bone cancer and I hope shes in remission/okay. What a fun, enjoyable, real life character with so many stories to tell!

This is so fascinating. Until I moved to Utah over a decade ago (from FL), I had no idea Bundy lived here and sadly left his mark. I knew about Bundy and the girls he murdered in FL (my sister was in college at UF when Bundy hit the Chi O house), and some friends drove over to Lawtey for the execution, but had no idea about Utah. These videos of SLC, Lehi, and the drive into the canyons are now so familiar to me.

I had the same experience as you. Moved to Lehi from North Carolina, and never knew he was in all those areas until I moved there. I think I found out when the Tribune had an article about Carole DeRonch, and was stunned that that happened at Fashion Place Mall.

Love the vids as usual. It’s just so mysterious to me. From what I’ve read and watched: she was a runaway. She wasn’t a runaway. Her parents kicked her out but spoke with her frequently. I guess I’m curious about the family dynamics. I need to know! Lol!

Lol Right, The Story Is So Weird I’ve Always Been Fascinated With This Story, I Don’t See How They Didn’t Connect Ted Immediately After Laura Death. I Mean Here’s A 30 Yr Old Man Being Extremely Creepy Stalking A Group Of Teenagers, Stuffing Leaves Down Her Shirt. Staring At Her Intently At The Hangout! Forcing Himself In Their Home Etc Etc. Then She Vanishes.. He Stops Coming Around.. 🧐 How Red Does The Flag Need To Be...

The Man With No Name you’re right. I’ve also read where he claimed not to get “close” to a victim because he did not want to humanize them. Which clearly wasn’t the case with Laura. Fascinating all the same.

It is like the cops had this setup so that the killer can get away with murder if anyone reports someone missing it should be investigated not assumed to be a runaway, or someone who left home for a few hours. I know you can't babysit a teenager, but if I knew someone like this was hovering around my friend, I wouldn't let her go anywhere alone, and at least contacted police to tell them how this guy is acting but looks like they wouldn't do anything. They even asked Ted Bundy for advice on how to catch a killer because they didn't have it figured out yet.
