ACNE, MISSONI, BALLY, LOEWE, MARC JACOBS, MARNI, 's .. kind of fun-ironic-cartoony-relaxed-playfulness, "coushy flatness" (in all good sense!) style is THE NEW FRESH AIR amongst the nostalgia and dense-serious, over embellished romantic other styles around. It feels uplifting and it suits different age groups :)
There are several comments dismissing the collection but I for one, think its right on brand in its playful disregard, quirkiness, and half-baked dress up clothes.
If you read the show notes, they were looking to subvert themes of the home as a structure, arriving at something domestic and alien (a great juxtaposition). You see skirts resembling lamp shades, dramatized proportions like wide child-bearing hips (as if the child is 3 years old at birth), among other themes. It takes a few watch-throughs to absorb it all
There's a lot of interesting things happening here. As i was watching the show my mind i was thinking of how to combine these pieces with other less flamboyant pieces, and i have a lot of ideas.
It’s a avant garde, do you honestly think people wear a majority of the things that are on runways, these are just ideas, walking art and art is subjective. Relax, plus you as a man don’t even get to decide what makes a woman classy.
Boring and secondary, almost all of the silhouettes and cuts were already represented by other brands - it's clearly not experimental, innovative fashion.
@@sigisingsexactly, like…references exist in fashion. Hardly anything is unique and new. It’s really about combining references into a unifying theme (in this case , subversion of domestic codes into something almost alien yet familiar). It’s tiring hearing this bad takes lol
Not me watching this video for the sole purpose of spotting ILLIT in the audience 😅… They look absolutely gorgeous, and I really like this collection as well!
