Mkleo could pick up snake. He did good with him in the first tournament before the game came out.
why would he pick Snake when he is already super good with Lucina and Joker, and his opinion Snake is "only" high tier, not top tier, which I can understand easily, it's kind of a gimmicky character, and most people dont exploit snake's weaknesses enough (throwing grenade back, hiting nikita and forcing him to recover high by destroying him if he recovers low)

This character is so hard
Mohammed Ali I think he's actually one of the easiest in the game once you get the hang of it. There's no super precise inputs that you need to make and no combos to remember.
@@rawrbecca_ no super precise inputs? playa, you crazy, or your a casual. Just using grenades correctly and efficiently correctly takes a lot of really fast and precise button inputs. And thats not even touching his dependence on b reserves and wavebounces. There is also SO MUCH TECH with snake. Like an absurd amount, most of it people arent even using yet.

Roupization Placing grenades is making reads, not making precise inputs. There's a difference between doing a tight combo with a 1 frame window and properly placing a grenade. Placing a grenade is a read, and understand where having one will help you. Please explain to me how placing a grenade is a precise input and not a read. Also, b reversing grenade has a 4 frame window. I'm the one that's a casual but you're one calling that a really fast/precise button input? A 4 frame window? That's more than half the time it takes for some smash attacks to come out in this game...

There really isn't a MU snake has trouble with. I main snake, and I actually see what salem was saying. He has even MU at most. He's able to handle every character in the game.

There is one character I think he loses for sure but that's a secret
Ally used Mario against MVD at CEO and he totally destroyed him. I think he went with Mario cuz he believes Mario wins the matchup.
José Antonio Marrón Martínez no that's not true. Ally knows how snake works since he's used him since brawl. Only reason he went Mario was because he said he wasn't good at the ditto
Waxy *_* ness and Lucas do good against snake because of absorb. If you fight a crappy snake, all they'll do is Nikita off stage. So in casual matches, probably. In general, the matchup is even because they have exploitable recoveries, which can be punished by any character. It's really knowing how the MU works when you get down to it. Megaman, snake can play the camping game, and do a few mind games with it. The MU are even, not really against him.
I tend to di towards the stage so i can tech at higher percents when recovering with the c4

I know this is kinda a beginner guide and they're both really good players but I think they shouldn't give out bad info saying you just put out random explosions he can get punished pretty hard if someone knows how to play vs him
Joshua Seiber hey I recently picked up snake and I’m struggling like a lot lot and not sure what to do
Specifically with my grenades not hitting my opponent I throw them and they don’t explode and my enemy just runs to me and when I cook them they approach me really fast and when I jump out the way my super slow movements get me comboed, what do I do

Snake has a combo...his down air combos into itself starting at about 10% as long as the opponent doesnt tech ROLL
Also if the Snake has mastered wavebounce c4 and the airdodge, then he can out maneuver most players
