My idea is that Venom is about the music industry. It's an incredibly toxic environment, but no matter what SKZ can't/won't leave because its the place they want to achieve in and even though there is a way out if they wanted, they won't go because they're addicted to their work and lifestyle, even if it may harm them.
The video is so awesome. It plays on the lyrics so well. + Seungmin said that the noona dressing him looked very happy when she gave him the outfit and I would just like to take this opportunity to thank her. She made us happy too. Haha
Based on lyrics, I interpreted this as 'craving for adrenaline rush' since they say 'I want it more, spreading poison, addicting potion, urgency, circulate faster' Maybe the 'spider' represents risky stuff, so when they encounter it, adrenaline starts spreading and they love it. They keep trying to get into such situations willingly for ex. Han is getting himself shot at, IN and Chan with the bow, Hyunjin and Lee Know boxing with spiked gloves, Changbin in the magician box I can't make theories of the MV though. For Felix case, even with his voice which is one of THE most distinctive ones in kpop (or maybe the global music) world, IMO, wouldn't be this 'grown up' if he isn't in Stray Kids. Why? You asked about theory, so here goes, at least about the dinning scene. SKZ seems to have a theme in their storyline that there is a version of themselves that "buys into" the system, that takes the easy road, that does what society expects of them. That goes all the way back to District 9. The dinning scene gives me "drinking the Cool-Aid" vibes... willfully ingesting what society is feeding them and not even wanting out of the trap. It's pretty relatable. We all get caught up in the rat race and "keeping up with the Jones's". It's a trap of sorts, but we all have our reasons for not exiting.

The way I understand it, the song and MV talk about a toxic relationship or a toxic mindset. The mirror and red strings are callbacks to Red Lights because that song is about toxicity and obsession, too. The members all try to kill each other perhaps to dramatize the danger of being in said relationship. Changbin escapes the bomb vault but doesn't help the others, Felix controls the spider that chases the others, Hyunjin tries to shoot Han, Seungmin tries to blow up Han, Lee Know poisons everyone at the dinner table, IN has an arrow against Chan's heart, Chan stabs Changbin through the box, Lee Know and Hyunjin are in a spiky boxing match. It's a dangerous yet addictive situation. Kinda like most toxic relationships. At least, that's what I'm getting.

The way I understand it, the song and MV talk about a toxic relationship or a toxic mindset. The mirror and red strings are callbacks to Red Lights because that song is about toxicity and obsession, too.
The members all try to kill each other perhaps to dramatize the danger of being in said relationship. Changbin escapes the bomb vault but doesn't help the others, Felix controls the spider that chases the others, Hyunjin tries to shoot Han, Seungmin tries to blow up Han, Lee Know poisons everyone at the dinner table, IN has an arrow against Chan's heart, Chan stabs Changbin through the box, Lee Know and Hyunjin are in a spiky boxing match.
It's a dangerous yet addictive situation. Kinda like most toxic relationships. At least, that's what I'm getting.
Lee Know is also sus like in Lonely St.

I love the knowledge I get from your channel lol, I had no idea about farmers using spiders. If you notice Lee know is the center of the table in the "last supper" scene. I feel like he is the one who supplied the spider filled food (he is taking care of the pests? lol) and the others are suspicious, if you look they are all inspecting the food and drink but they drink and eat anyways and then Lee know is lit up in the center alone with the others "dead"..... Lee know is the key here. ♡
I think it's interesting that Felix is the one controlling the spider, because someone pointed out that the choreo for maniac at the beginning it looks like Felix is standing over Lee know like Dr Frankenstein waking up his monster? Idk lol

I may be wrong but to me it kind of sounds like the whole kpop industry...where Changbin talks about how he got himself trapped could be their music contracts and the song could be about being trapped in it and the anxiety and the toxic crap that comes from being in the music industry especially kpop....but that cause they love music then its got them wrapped up in it and they dont want to leave....so they are trapped in this web of music industry and they are just trying to navigate their way through it....in their last few songs Stray Kids took aim at their haters etc so it only makes sense that this time they take aim at the industry....and the ending could mean they dont want to leave the industry which is why they dont leave the exit....maybe i could be totally wrong lol

In relation to Felix eating the spider, My theory is that it’s hate and toxic anti’s. Hyunjin and Han have talked about how the hate speech and negative comments affect them so much. They both suffer with mental health issues and they take the comments to heart and it make them feel so upset. So does the spider represent that and the fact that it bites the heart and injects is poison there . Then they are like nah fam I am going to get stronger because You’re venom can’t affect me anymore 😎
