Cement is an essential building material for every construction. It acts as a chemical binder that holds materials like sand and gravel together with the help of water, allowing them to set, harden, and become strong. Clinker is the key ingredient for cement and is obtained by processing limestone. In Nepal, we generally use two types of cement: OPC (Ordinary Portland Cement) and PPC (Portland Pozzolana Cement), each with its distinct uses.
