Big bloody nerve runs down the back of your leg, if you take a hard enough hit up the leg it turns your brain off pretty good. Unfortunately I know from experience... Good news is you should be fine in a couple of weeks :-)
At least you didn't do what I did, ACL, LCL and bucket handle meniscus tear. 20 years of pain.
