Great review! I'll definitely be checking this out, as I previously read Edie a few years ago and thought it was fascinating. I love old Hollywood stories!
Ok! I've been wanting that Edie book for such a long time. I love Edie Sedgwick; I've been obsessed with her since I was in 7th grade! I definitely need to get that book AND West of Eden... if I don't win a copy! It sounds so intriguing! I also love film! So, this video is very fitting for me. What a great way to come back, David!
Yay you're back! Last friday, it felt like spending a day without doing some everyday thing, like when you forget to say good night to your family before going to bed. (Not sure if this makes any sense though)
YAYYYY you're back! This book sounds right up my street, celebrity culture is my guilty pleasure, and I'm really into non-fiction this year! Oral histories are my jam. Welcome back, and thank you for another wonderfully insightful video :) I'd also like to be considered for the giveaway please.
Glad to have you back, too! :) The whole culture of Hollywood leaves a bad taste in my mouth because it's just so corrupt. I don't think I'll pick this one up because of the subject matter but I'm excited about future books you talk about.
I would like to enter this competition, too. Thom Yorke suggested I enter another one and who am I to say no to the Radiohead front man. And you wouldn't want me to give him some bad news. Hmmm...
You come back bearing great news! :)
I'm fascinated by Golden Age of Hollywood, so this will be added to my tbr.

Lovely to have you back too Will. PS I'd love the book too!

Sounds great. The advent of the celebrity gossip age? Would love to read.
Always enjoy your reviews 👍. Thanks for the giveaway 🎉
I'm such a nosey person, this sounds right up my street!
Love reading about the dark side of Hollywood. I recommend the Hollywood Babylon books by Kenneth Anger.
Like the idea of 'murky'!
