OMG it left in the verge. I didn't realize it was only 2 minutes long!!! Amazing video! I would love a ~25 minute video about this. Thanks Boot Dev and Telescopic Johnson for this.
Note that, the fields may not be always be packed together. Instead of the 3 ints, if you put in a short, the struct may still take the same space with extra bits padded. You can rearrange your fields, so this does not happen (the compiler cannot do that for you)
i dont know if its me but I hate the education system that forces you to constantly learn newer shit, without allowing you one to delve deeper into things one likes, and don't tell me I can do it in my personal time. I hated my college for this, I enjoyed C, or the challenge of its, the rawness, and yet I can't find the time to do it again in between working the day job and life otherwise.
I mean the computer industry is one of the fastest growing industries, new technology and techniques are constantly being developed. It makes sense you need to spend time on then. Granted I would also like more time to deep dive into my hobbies🥲
Because college wants you to brush through what basics are expected and be a "fast learner" by building on those foundations in your free time or/and later.
Why do most universities or institutes start learning Java programming language instead of C++, especially in India and Saudi Arabia? I mean, on the first day in college or institute, they start teaching Java without teaching C++ before it, knowing that students are supposed to study C++ and then start teaching them any language they want, whether Java or another. Why do Indians and Saudis use Java extensively? I mean, most of their programmers are proficient in Java, regardless of whether they use it or not, but they teach us even if they don't use it? I mean, is there a secret in Java that we don't know yet, and why are its users more numerous than C++?

Learning web dev but I still find your videos very interesting. Someday I will also learn a lower level lang like C.
glhf and best of luck!

And the people who DO learn C/C++ and/or Java in their CS degree complain that they can't go easy-mode learning Python or JavaScript... 😅🙄
I think people generally complain about the grass being greener on "the other side" 😉🤷🏼♂️

"structs having no behavior..." wait until I put that function pointer in it 😁 (yes I will give the struct as a parameter like python does with self)
:D
i just want God not work
Idk that we can help with that
