I've started using this line, except the cleanser, and I'm loving it. It smells expensive, but without stinking and giving me a migraine, and feels great on my skin. It also has been decreasing the pigmentation on scarring from a pimple I had really quickly, so I'm rather happy with the gel, serum and moisturiser.
not that i mind sponsored videos and I dont mean to put you under fire but I really wish that when sponsored by a brand they go over their favorite items of that band that you really love plus maybe a couple of new products you are excited to try that's coming out. When its just the new line that's being showed i have to question if it is actually any good
+Lilyan Basaka My thoughts exactly. If the products lasted for 2 years, it would be worth the money. But with daily use, you might be able to squeeze one month out of it. For over 100.00. No thanks!
+Tiffany Radcliffe How much moisturiser do you put on every day? I've been using the serum and moisturiser for a few months now and I have barely made a dent in the large tub. It will last plenty of time. My other serum that I have been using for many years now is also 30mL, you only use a few drops each day and it lasts me about 10 months. This stuff is not cheap, but if you have the money it's an investment in your future face! 😁😃
+Tiffany Radcliff that is not true. the the body shop vitamin e face sorbet for example lasted me nearly a year of daily use and its smaller than the drops of light cream.
thanks tina. i've been using this drop of light from body shop as my daily skincare as you're suggest. and amzingly it really works. my skin always had trouble with whitehead and oily and dark spots. also very dull. but after using this for about 2 weeks, my skin got better n better. love the serum and also the gel exfoliate so much.
Prices vary depending on what item you're after it's no more expensive than the likes of loreal , maybeline etc and they're drugstore brands it's just on the higher end of drug store so no it doesn't break the bank it only breaks the bank when you go for the oils and gift sets although a set of 4 of their face masks are £70/around $90 in dollars
FYI, if you have oily or combination skin, the Cream of DOL is not for you because it is extremely moist and shiny. Better use the other type of cream from body shop such as DOY or Seaweed. Rest of the line up are fine. I also use the three of them: Peeling gel, essence lotion, and serum. They do wonder on my skin; the blemishes just keep fading 👍🏻 One thing lacking is DOL does not have toner to cleanse and hydrate the skin for the routine so I need to use other product for the toner.
+Keerthana if you compare the body shops products to brands like Estee Lauder or Lance... not to mention La Prarie and others.. yes, it is more affordable. Especially for the quality. Those brands, similar ingredients... costs you at least 3 times the body shops prices.
I know what you mean, however everyone spends their money differently, some people maybe most do put more money towards skincare, myself included. I think with skincare you get what you pay for.
That's so much cheaper than a lot of skincare products that I've tried, actually... So yeah, I think her statement "does not break the bank" is somewhat true since The Body Shop range are quite affordable compared to other skincare products. ✌🏼️
These are lovely and look really clean & fresh.... I'm new fan of the Body Shop Im using the Vit E eye and day cream. With the Aloe cleanser and toner, like that used Estee Lauder for years but it was so expensive so swapped up to high street and i'm so glad I did 30 days using it now and it really works. Hopefully we get those products in our Body Shop must have sneaky peek. great video missus xxx
+Alilish Suki The Body Shop is quite pricey in NZ and Aus, so getting a body butter and scrub would already be around 75 dollars. I don't think the set is pricey though. I'm currently using a couple of Dior's skincare range and Lancome as well. The sets cost a lot more.
The price range of these products are similar to what you will be paying for here in Singapore. Been using the whole 4 items plus a Drops Of Youth serum and Oils Of Life facial oil for about a month now. Already seeing tremendous result. To me the prices of these product did not break my bank as I am enjoying the good results I see everyday.
People making fun of the 'it doesn't break the bank' comment, let me just say that everyone's idea of cheap or expensive isn't the same. To me, this range seems well priced for the great ingredients and it lasts ages. It's funny how people won't spend a decent amount on skincare but will on other unecessary stuff... skincare is a good investment! It's good to look after yourself and your skin, especially your facial skin as it is what everyone looks at! Now I'm not saying looks are everything but if you do not take care of your skin it can lead to a lot of unhappiness - depression, sadness, feelings of being uncomfortable and stress when in social environments, I know as I have been through this due to not looking after my skin and using crappy products... so yeah, to some us this range and many 'expensive' ranges are decently priced. Chill out and move on if it's not for you! Jeez.
Lily Rose How do you know that people spend money on unecessary stuff and aren't willing to invest in skin care? If you can afford the products, good for you. But don't point the finger at others for claiming that those products are expensive for their budget, you don't know their financial situation or how hard they are working to obtain money. They are free to express their opinion.
Hey Tina, loved the new video and ur editing was awesome! I know you're sponsored by TBS, but can you tell me if you actually like/ see a difference with using the products and how long you've been using them? I've been using the serum and essence for 3-4 weeks but I don't see a difference in using it and idk if I should go on :/
I work at a US store...you can't find these products anywhere over here...strictly in Asain countries. Our version is the Drops of Youth. Same products. Liquid gel peel Foam cleanser Essence lotion Serum Eye Serum Mosturizer for the day Eye mask for the night Face mask for the night 3 live plant stem cells, aloe based, most of the products are vegan
Please do some more hack videos! Maybe blackhead hacks, concealer hacks (this would be really great) and skin hacks. I love watching your hack videos so please do some more!
everyone is whining about breaking the bank... The Body Shop doesnt only have this line lol This and the drops of youth are more expensive, maybe some other lines, but for example the normal lines like the vitamin e,c or the tea tree oil one is not that expensive. The day/night creams, and the serums are more expensive tho, but we all knew that serums are expensive, but at least they last a long time
The drops of light made my normal skin very oily and the cream is very heavy on skin for the day, i dont think it will be good to add make up on , i will try to return this at the store , is this a sponsored video? Did anybody experience same as me?
You look amazing Tina!!!😍 Totally tangent from the compliment, but I still find the products quite pricy especially as a student. Let's be honest here... Lol😭😂

VioletIceFire i have the same feeling now... i tried and its not so good
VioletIceFire 8
I love body shop products and have no doubt these would be amazing! But you can't say it won't break the bank if it's $148.80 for 4 products!
I recently bought this product, and it's super effective. I love how it touch my skin smoothly and my dark spots started to lighten up.
why are your skincare videos always sponsored :( sometimes i just really want to know what your holy grails are..
+Rachelle Pauline Teh she has practically perfect skin so I bet she can use anything and it'll be "holy graiL" sigh
"Doesn't break the bank". Those are so expensive!!!
+Lilyan Basaka My thoughts exactly. If the products lasted for 2 years, it would be worth the money. But with daily use, you might be able to squeeze one month out of it. For over 100.00. No thanks!

I know it's too late but can you please tell me, After you apply the serum do you have to wash your face and then apply the day cream???
"Doesn't break the bank" hahaha, whatever you say
That's exactly what I thought
+Rose Nguyen LOL even on the first item that was only like 22$ I went "Wtf!"...then got to the serum and almost closed the page xD
+Tiffany Cardinal My price range is like at $10 and below lol
Ya. It's more expensive than the usual Body Shop products like Seaweed, Aloe Vera, Vit E, Tea Tree

I know it's totally off topic but I find it amazing that here in the US its spring and in Australia it's fall . How amazing is that ?
It's not off topic at all! It's because of where the suns rays are directed when the earth is spinning :)
+Emma Moosewood but like isn't that totally mind blowing ??
"Doesn't break the bank"
"Sponsored by the Body Shop"

"doesn't break the bank.... $42.95 day cream"
I thinked the same thing lol. I feel poor
+belinda z Lol, I know I was like "....I'm so broke" #collegestudent
I know what you mean, however everyone spends their money differently, some people maybe most do put more money towards skincare, myself included. I think with skincare you get what you pay for.
+Oh hey look it's Sarah wasn't criticizing her financial habits in the slightest, it's her money she can spend it however she'd like
Oh hey look it's Sarah Yeah, I spend a lot of many people on skin products too, but she said that it not expensive, and it is😔😔
"Won't break the bank" *rolls eyes*
That's so much cheaper than a lot of skincare products that I've tried, actually... So yeah, I think her statement "does not break the bank" is somewhat true since The Body Shop range are quite affordable compared to other skincare products. ✌🏼️
Is this alright for oily skin?
Finally a youtuber who lives in Sydney ! Love your videos!!!

Why didn't you add a sponsored tag?
It's in the description
It is now

ME:"OMG NOOOOOO"
What song is the background music?
Reminds me of the other "How I Got Clear Skin" video .. which was also sponsored & was really just an ad about the sponsored products =/
Guys for you who don't live in Australia, it would be cheaper for you. Everything is a lot more expensive in Australia.
+Samara Jennings It's still expensive in USA. Most of the products are between $34 and $58 dollars.
Lol,I thought the beginning was the start of the "tutorial"😂😂
