    AJ definitely isn't wrong about TNA, in the late 00s they were starting to gain a lot of viewers because they were putting on some of the best matches in the US on a regular basis, and had a roster featuring not only a ton of rising talent who are stars in the industry today but some genuine top wrestling talent who had left WWE. It's such a tragedy that when they earned a move from 1 to 2 hour TV slots they threw it all away to get the WCW band back together. All they had to do was keep doing what they were doing and the whole US wrestling landscape of the last 15 years, a lot of which was extremely bleak, is completely different, and AJ Styles is on the forefront of the whole thing. Feels bad, man.

      WWE offered AJ Styles $490,000 per year when his TNA contract expired in November 2013, he declined the offer and went to NJPW making the Yin equivalent of $750,000... Once his contract expired after Wrestle Kingdom 2016, WWE contacted him again and immediately offered him $1.25 Million per year. He accepted it and right now he is making $2.5 Million per year... I'd say he made the right decision declining his 2013 offer... They even tried ripping AJ out from underneath TNA in 2009, but the offer was only $150,000 per year which was only slightly more than TNA was paying him at the time ($135,000), so he decided it wasn't worth the move for such a small increase

      He never forgot. He chose to work for other companies before settling for WWE and it paid off because Vince trusted him to carry the ball.

      Really??? How long did AJ carry the ball?

    • @RVNT9OE
      @RVNT9OE ปีที่แล้ว +4

      @@kellymcquay2626 long enough to be a triple crown and grand slam champion in WWE. Long enough to have wrestled every top guy in WWE. Long enough to even have kept his job in WWE. Long enough to have the Undertaker make him his last WrestleMania opponent. I can just keep going.

    "They were doing well it's hard to believe now" Well yeah, you were one of the few talent that carried TNA lol. In the late 2000s and early 2010s, TNA was arguably better than WWE in that point in time.

    But the thing is that not everyone gets those opportunities even in wwe.

      Because all they do is complain on social media about how unhappy they are. This guy always works and deals with his frustrations like a professional. Just like Ziggler and Miz.

    The tagline is straight up clickbait LIE!!! He never said wwlame was the only company to work for. People only hear what they want to hear! He said it doesn't matter you have to work hard everywhere you go

    From 2004 to 2008, maybe even up until 2010, I'd say TNA was much better than WWE.

      Couldn't imagine being as dumb as you. He was WWE champion about 6 months after joining the company. He won the WWE title multiple times. He won the US title and tag titles. He was featured in main event matches with John Cena, Roman and Undertaker and now he's currently a top star on Smackdown and making $2.5 million every year. Tell me exactly how they've wasted him? In 7 years he's already had a HOF worthy career if you're just looking at his WWE run and he's making top guy money.
